For this Civil/Infrastructure Design Engineer;
Reporting directly to the management team, you will take a key role in the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions, including highways, drainage and sustainable systems. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to technical delivery and construction phase, working closely with clients, local authorities, the wider design team and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering design solutions using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Site 3D software.
- Developing drainage strategies, SuDS designs, flood risk assessments, and associated section agreements (e.g., Section 104, 106, and 278).
- Designing highways and preparing technical submissions for adoption agreements.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary design teams.

- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognized professional institution (e.g., ICE, CIHT).
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management, with significant experience in infrastructure development.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex civil engineering projects.
- Expertise in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, HEC-RAS, OpenFlows).
- Strong understanding of transportation engineering, water resource management, and urban planning principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in preparing technical proposals and managing client relationships.
