Job Description

Insight Manager
Job Description:
About little about us:
We are a global team of insights professionals dedicated to delivering best-in-class, actionable insights by synthesising customer understanding, data, and analytics. By partnering across the business, we ensure the voice of the customer is embedded in strategic and day-to-day decision-making. Our work directly shapes both short- and long-term marketing strategies.
The Role
We're seeking a passionate and strategic Qualitative Researcher & Innovation Community Manager to lead our efforts in uncovering customer needs and nurturing a dynamic innovation community. This hybrid role combines deep qualitative research expertise with community engagement to fuel product innovation and customer-centric design.
This isn't just about research-it's about influence, connection, and creating better experiences together.
This role is hybrid, 3 days a week from our either our London or Newcastle office.
Key Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
You'll lead qualitative research studies-interviews, focus groups, diary studies-to deeply understand our customers' needs, pain points, and behaviours. You'll turn those insights into clear and actionable recommendations that guide product, marketing, and strategy decisions, helping teams make choices that are grounded in reality.
You won't work in isolation. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, and you'll partner closely with UX researchers, data analysts, and product managers to triangulate findings and create a more holistic view of the customer experience.
Alongside this, you'll also manage and grow a dynamic innovation community made up of financial professionals, early adopters, and thought leaders. By running co-creation sessions, beta programs, and innovation workshops, you'll ensure the community feels both engaged and empowered. You'll act as their voice inside the business, making sure feedback loops are closed and their input genuinely shapes product development.
What You'll Bring:
Ideally, you have 3+ years of experience in qualitative or UX research, customer insights, or a related field. While B2B SaaS experience is a plus, it's not a dealbreaker. If you've dabbled in quantitative research and tools like Qualtrics, even better.
You've likely had some experience building or managing user communities or innovation programs, and you're comfortable turning engagement into impact. Strong communication and storytelling skills are essential, as is confidence using research and collaboration tools such as Dovetail, Lookback, or Miro. An understanding of financial or accounting workflows would give you an edge, but it's not essential.
What Success Looks Like:
You'll know you're making an impact when projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with insight that sparks change. When you see your research influencing product design and marketing campaigns, you'll know your work is resonating. Most importantly, you'll see a shift across the business-more decisions being made with the customer firmly in mind, thanks to your efforts and the community you nurture.
