I am searching for an INSTRUMENTATION DESIGN ENGINEER to join a multi-disciplined project engineering team dealing with a growing range of renewable energy, process oil and gas projects.
As an Instrumentation Specialist within the team you'll be preparing datasheets, system hardware designs, technical specifications, input into the P+ID and instrument layouts and drawings for the project. Selecting the process and analytical instruments from the suppliers, inspecting the build of the instrument house or electrical / PLC control panels, being responsible for the design and delivery of temperature, pressure, flow, level etc aspects for each project - start to finish.
Experience in petrochemical, oil gas, water, chemical or process industries projects would be perfect. You must be free to work in the UK, because UK Visa Sponsorship cannot be awarded with this vacancy.

**In this role you will focus on:**
+ Specifying, designing, and documenting automation systems for a diverse range of processes and technologies throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Designing and developing DCS (Distributed Control Systems) for power and automation projects, including the complete design of system architectures, DCS PLC software, HMI SCADA software, and DCS hardware.
+ Verifying, validating, and testing automation systems.
