The Role
As Head of Insurer Relations – Niche Motor , you’ll be the key interface between Markerstudy Distribution and our strategic insurer partners, with a particular focus on specialist motor products including Classic Cars, Motorhomes, and Caravans.
This is a high-impact role where you will lead the development and performance of insurer relationships, ensuring they align with our commercial ambitions and regulatory responsibilities, all while keeping the customer at the heart of every decision.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and nurture sustainable, high-value relationships with key insurer partners.
- Own and optimise insurer performance (NB, renewals, loss ratios, rates, and more).
- Ensure our insurer panel delivers strong customer outcomes and supports growth goals.
- Lead insurer-related regulatory alignment, including GIPP, Fair Value, and Consumer Duty.
- Present data-driven product and performance updates to Commercial Directors and Markerstudy Distribution Exec team.
- Identify new panel opportunities and negotiate terms for new schemes.
- Support cross-functional delivery of new schemes, rates, and insurer implementations.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to your team.
