Marlowe Fire & Security’s Systems Integration Specialist’s

Work closely with both the IT, Integration Team and users of the business. The Integration Systems Specialist will have responsibility improving the following areas of the business in relation to systems and usage, with a focus on CASH4Windows system, but not limited to it.

  • Ensuring the group can meet its corporative objectives through the provision of innovative solution, focusing on data, system usage, training and effective reporting.
  • Focus on optimisation of CASH4Windows across all Fire Division Businesses.

  • Writing clear and comprehensive documentation for processes, reports, systems, functions, etc to support and deliver new systems / technologies, and to support training initiatives
  • Prepare, review and execute mass uploads and changes of data
  • Identify data issues and work with stakeholders to resolve inaccuracies.
  • Extraction and presentation of data from the Group’s core business systems and analysis of the data to support revised business practices.
  • Cleansing of such data to ensure accurate reporting across the business.
  • Provide technical support, training and problem analysis for the Group’s core business systems, both office and field based.
  • Support users across the Group with the implementation of new information systems.
  • Support business users in developing detailed training plans and conduct training sessions to improve the usage of the IT systems.
  • Communicate information systems plans to business users, encouraging end ownership and adoption of these systems.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to reduce paper usage within the business and improve overall productivity.
  • Be a visible leader of the Integration, Alignment and Commercial Team
  • Be a major influencer over all of Service Delivery, Integration & IT and the wider company as necessary
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert in the business
  • Always providing competent support and expert advice to stakeholders across the organisation
  • Work with any external third party to help accelerate our drive to deliver consistent and high-quality customer service
  • Monitor and review project performance, alerting the Project Manager/Programme Manager to any potential areas of concern
  • Manage the quality of project documentation, ensuring all project products are produced to the high standards expected by the programme
  • Facilitate the governance process, ensuring questions are raised to the correct governance forums, and decisions are effectively communicated and recorded

Our client, a leading innovator in the aerospace sector, is seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Integration Specialist to join their collaborative team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration of complex avionic and propulsion systems into next-generation aircraft. You will be responsible for defining system architectures, managing interfaces, and overseeing the verification and validation processes to guarantee optimal performance and safety. The position is based in Norwich, Norfolk, UK , operating on a hybrid model that balances essential in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain system integration plans and procedures for complex aerospace systems.
  • Define and manage system and subsystem interfaces, ensuring compatibility and inter-operability.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware and software components, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Plan and execute system-level testing, verification, and validation activities, including ground and flight testing.
  • Analyse test data and performance metrics to identify and resolve integration challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers, software developers, and test teams to ensure integrated system requirements are met.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including interface control documents (ICDs), system specifications, and test reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on system architecture and integration strategies.
  • Support risk management activities related to system integration.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in aerospace systems engineering and integration methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., DO-160, DO-178C).

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace systems integration or a closely related role.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including avionic, power, and communication systems.
  • Experience with system integration methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and modeling tools (e.g., SysML).
  • Familiarity with testing and verification processes for aerospace systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with hybrid work environments and a proven ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical systems and certification processes is a plus.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
