What will you be doing?

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Consulting with clients to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on a variety of sites.
• Producing detailed reports and schematic drawings (with support from the admin team) within agreed timescales.
• Offering technical advice and support to customers and colleagues.
• Opportunity to be trained in other disciplines such as Pseudomonas & scalding assessments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Enhanced DBS (preferred but we can arrange).
• Experience of working within hospitals and healthcare (to HTM04-01) would be advantageous (but can otherwise be trained).
• Experience of working with cooling towers would be advantageous (but can otherwise be trained).

• Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR).
• Analyze threat intelligence feeds and data to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the organization.
• Conduct threat hunting activities to proactively detect sophisticated threats.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remediation actions.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement security controls and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
• Participate in security awareness training programs.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and tools.
• Provide regular reports on threat landscape and security incidents to management.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, SOC analysis, or threat intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and common attack methodologies.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and sources (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GIAC are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is beneficial.
