Role and responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth tactical and strategic analysis of the cyber threat landscape, identifying emerging trends, tracking key threat collectives and delving into deep and dark web activity.
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) within the GIS team.
- Draw upon open and closed sources of intelligence to author analytically-sound, industry-leading finished intelligence reports.
- Weigh competing hypotheses against each other, utilizing analytical tools to form conclusions.
- Identify, analyze and deliver reports on topics that are fundamental to protecting our customer base.
- Work across multi-disciplined teams to leverage their expertise and experience.

Requirements
- Experience in cyber security or intelligence analysis, typically obtained in 2+ years.
- Strong understanding of cyber threats affecting large enterprises and organizations.
- Proven skills in strategic and tactical threat analysis, with the ability to analyze and extract trends from large data sources.
- Proven track record managing intelligence products from concept to completion.
- Ability to evaluate information credibility and relevance to produce clear and concise reports.
- Ability to manage and execute short and long-term projects independently.
- Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.

The Intelligence Analyst, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will be responsible executing global intelligence analysis services in support of the Global Security Intelligence Program. The Analyst is responsible for performing day-to-day monitoring, conducting trend identification and analysis, and facilitating deeper research and assessment of key topics or issues relevant to Global Security needs.
Responsibilities

- Manage the collection of intelligence information used to populate various standard reports and updates.
- Monitor press, intelligence subscriptions, social media posts, and other online sources daily.
- Monitor, track, and communicate impact to the customer.
- Continuously monitor and refine OSINT tools, subscriptions, and queries.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and partners across multiple lines of business.
- Effectively work as part of an interdisciplinary, global team managing multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
- Develop and/or improve standard operating procedures and program documents.
- Establish and maintain systematic, cross referenced intelligence records and files.
- Articulate key findings extrapolated from sourced data with a focus on the assigned region including the completion of written assessments, formal report writing, and verbal briefings to Regional and Global Security customers.
- Receive and process incoming report requests and messages.
- Initiate, execute, and maintain intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization.
- Assist the Digital Solutions Management team with maintaining the datasets needed for intelligence.
- Evaluate datasets with site-specific threats to be more predictive about sites facing the highest risk of impact.
- Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with three to five years of work experience in government and/or corporate intelligence, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
- Foreign language skills, preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of OSINT tools and strategies.
- Foundational knowledge in structured intelligence analysis.
- Sound analytical judgement and ability to identify how geopolitics and international security concerns impact multinational corporations.
