Overview
Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join our EMEA tax team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support across all areas of the business concerning direct taxes. Your primary responsibilities will include managing EMEA direct tax compliance, overseeing tax reporting, and delivering strategic tax advisory services. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, multinational environment and play a key role in shaping the organisation's tax strategy within the EMEA region.
How you'll make an impact
- Manage EMEA tax compliance processes for all direct taxes. This will include
- reviewing all computations and returns,
- ensuring accurate and timely submission to tax authorities
- managing relationships with external advisers and compliance providers
- managing relationships with local and central finance teams
- Manage all tax payments due to tax authorities and ensuring timely payment
- Manage preparation of corporation tax provision for local statutory accounts, this will involve managing and developing the relationship with the external tax audit team
- Prepare or review US GAAP quarterly tax reporting packs for the group’s US parent
- Involvement in balance sheet tax reconciliations within ERP system
- Participate in managing relationships with tax authorities
- Assistance with EMEA advisory projects
- Ensure SOX requirements are fully met.
About You
- CTA/CA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience wihtin international tax compliance and reporting
- Familiarity with tax technology (ideally Thomson Reuters Onesource) and automation tools
- Excellent organisational and communication skills across all formats
- Eligibility to work in the UK

The international tax department is responsible for the tax planning, provision and compliance processes across all non-US jurisdictions in the Tradeweb Markets Group.
Reporting to the International Tax Director, the primary role of the International Tax Manager is to ensure compliance for the Tradeweb International entities across corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing and for accurate reporting of tax for the international entities as well as ad-hoc advisory projects for the business. **Job Responsibilities:**
+ Manage direct and indirect tax filings for UK and other international jurisdictions outsourced to external advisors
+ Advising business on growth initiatives and support expansion into new jurisdictions
+ Support International Tax Director on projects as and when they arise
+ Prepare quarterly current and deferred tax provisions under US GAAP for UK and non-UK entities
+ Production of tax disclosures for IFRS statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors where necessary

As the Corporate International Tax Senior Manager, your objectives are to assist with the successful running of the Corporate International Tax team where you will be reporting directly to our Head of Corporate Tax. This role is largely office based and includes significant client contact - there is a requirement to travel between our offices in London, Kent and Sussex when necessary.
Our corporate clients include a broad range of sectors and industries and include entrepreneurial growth companies, larger corporates, multi-national groups, FSA regulated companies and AIM listed PLCs.
You will have good knowledge of UK corporation tax and interaction with international tax matter and you will also have a sound grasp of other business taxes to not only ensure clients are fully tax compliant but to also identify tax planning opportunities.
You will also be heavily involved in planning assignments - in the last 6 months this has included detailed analysis of the Reorganisations, Demergers, Loan Relationships, EIS schemes, due diligence on acquisitions and advising on sales of businesses.
As the Corporate International Tax Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assist UK and international clients structure their affairs tax efficiently
- Help manage the client relationship to become the trusted business advisor
- Work closely with Kreston colleagues across the globe
- Assist with managing our CT compliance services to a varied portfolio of corporate clients
- Review more complex corporation tax returns and computations
- You will act as people manager for circa 5 staff, including appraisals and work allocation
What we're looking for
- CTA qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of Corporate Tax
- Evidence of training and mentoring junior staff would be useful.
- Exposure to international tax issues such as double taxation relief and double taxation treaties, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation, permanent establishments, withholding taxes and CFC’s would be useful.
This role requires frequent travel to client offices so candidates must be willing to travel to other offices.
