We're looking for a proactive, solutions-focused Warehouse Manager to take the reins of a busy depot operating across extended hours—from 4am to 10pm. You'll lead a multi-shift team, manage daily operations, and play a key role in reshaping the warehouse for future growth.
The Opportunity
This is more than a management role—it's a chance to lead change from the ground up. Whether it's introducing a new picking system, implementing barcode tagging, or rethinking warehouse layout, you'll have the autonomy and backing to deliver meaningful improvements.
You'll be responsible for performance, compliance, process improvement, and driving KPIs such as pick accuracy and stock integrity —all while making sure your team delivers an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage a warehouse team across two shifts (morning and afternoon), ensuring high performance and accountability
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: returns, picking, loading, stock control
- Improve systems and processes, introducing better tracking, accuracy, and flow
- Own performance metrics and reporting for KPIs, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage people responsibilities: 1-2-1s, recruitment, return-to-works, and holiday approvals
- Ensure smooth shift transitions by covering the key 12pm-2pm crossover window
- Champion a tidy, safe, and efficient warehouse site
- Support implementation of new equipment, tagging and system integration
- Collaborate across departments to improve the customer journey and internal communication
- Solid leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or hire environments
- Experience driving team performance through KPIs and hands-on coaching
- A track record of delivering operational improvements and systems changes
- High energy and a practical, can-do approach
- Comfortable leading a team working from 4am-10pm (you'll work flexible hours, as long as you cover 12-2pm)
- Great communication skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Physical ability to assist with stock movement where needed
- Bonus if you've worked with Lean Six Sigma or similar improvement frameworks
- Morning shift: 2-3 team members
- Afternoon shift: 6-7 team members

About the role:
We are looking for a full time Stock Control Administrator to join our Workshop team – You will primarily be responsible for ensuring ensure consistency within the CORE area, all CORE is stored correctly and document all CORE within the WMS system. You will conduct quarterly stock checks and purchase ECU’s from CORE suppliers when required. You will also assist with daily H&S Checks as and when required.

Main responsibilities
- Follow a lean Kanban system within the CORE area
- Put all parts, consumables, and CORE away when it arrives
- Use a replenishment pull calculation to implement Kanban on consumables/Parts for the workshop
- Collect the core from each department and put it away daily
- Keep workshop technicians and their customers up to date with parts orders and inform them of any delays
- Update Kanban cards and parts spreadsheet
- Perform stock checks on consumables
- Chase up customer returns (10 days)
- Perform the “Scrap unit” procedure
- Perform the “Long stay” procedure
- Track customers' exchange units using SOP
- Follow all relevant SOPs (standard operating procedures)
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
- Perform stock checks in the core area using the WMS system
- Perform stock checks on the “Not in the system” tub and update the relevant spreadsheets
- Perform ABS stratification
- Use the internal workflow management system to create “Wanted CORE lists”
- Identify new suppliers for parts, consumables and CORE.
- Keep a healthy business relationship with third-party suppliers
- Update the supplier register for ISO9001 purposes
- Order parts, consumables, and CORE from third-party companies
- Update PO trackers
- Any other tasks deemed reasonable by the employer (H&S safety checks)
