With Intelligence is looking for a bright and enthusiastic reporter to join our 15-strong team of journalists covering the activities of a broad range of institutional investors in the US.
The role is ideal for a journalist looking to build their financial reporting experience working for an established global media brand and wanting to cultivate fruitful relationships with some of the most influential investors in the US.
We need reporters hungry for news, who will come in and hit the phones to uncover exclusive information for our subscribers and build strong relationships with industry execs. Reporters should be comfortable interviewing senior investment staff at large allocators and pressing them for valuable intelligence, as well as digging through reports and regulatory filings for news.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be working as part of a fast-paced news team, with daily news conferences and story targets to ensure we are providing our asset manager subscribers with the actionable intelligence they need from us, ahead of the game.
- You’ll be working with editorial and research colleagues across our global footprint to track the investment decisions of the world’s largest and most sophisticated investors, including US public pensions, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds and corporate pensions.
- The target audience for our coverage is primarily asset raisers at asset management companies and industry service providers, as well as investment consultants, institutional investors and wealth intermediaries.
Requirements
- Financial reporting experience and/or journalism training and a desire to build a career in financial/business journalism
- Willingness to stay on top of wider industry trends impacting hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, private credit and private equity.
- Hunger to get on the phone to hunt down information and comfortable interviewing senior execs
- Ability to break exclusive news and write insightful data-led analysis
- Good networking skills and a track record of developing useful contacts and sources
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Understanding of investing, wealth management and asset allocation strategies a plus

A boutique private credit fund based in central London is looking to add an additional Analyst to their investor relations team, aimed at someone with around 1-2 years experience in a numerical or analytical role.
The IR teams covers a broad range of responsibilities across the firm, from supporting fund raising and capital deployment activities to investor communications and queries, relationship management, marketing/presentations and investor reporting.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, data, and client engagement and is suited to someone looking to develop a long term career in IR.
Please note this is not a client facing role initially and does not offer visa sponsorship , with full unrestricted UK work rights required.
Key responsibilities:
- Excel-based data analysis – manipulate and reconcile large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
- Report preparation – compile and format monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investor reports, ensuring they are clear, insightful, and aligned with internal quality standards.
- Performance analytics – analyse portfolio performance metrics and identify trends or anomalies for inclusion in investor updates.

THIS ROLE IS A 1 YEAR FIX TERM CONTRACT (Strong possibility to become permanent)
The responsibilities and key tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:
▪ Support two senior Relationship Managers (RMs) with busy travel schedules. Complex visa
applications and travel itineraries, often requiring short notice changes.
▪ Complex diary management resolving conflicts as they arise. Close collaboration with team EAs and regular correspondence with external stakeholders. Calendar management includes busy roadshows and investor meetings around international conferences.
▪ Assist the RMs with basic CRM entries and ensure that information is kept up to date.
▪ Preparation of expenses claims in a timely manner.
▪ Work closely with the IR Operations Manager on ad hoc projects.
▪ Perform duties as necessary to ensure the most effective use of the Executives’ time.
▪ Receiving and screening incoming calls, e-mail, and correspondence. Prioritising and re-
directing where necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
▪ Providing EA cover within the team when required (e.g.: holidays, sick days)
▪ Assisting the IR Operations Manager in coordinating and successfully executing local and
global events (e.g.: industry conferences, Annual Meetings, Advisory Boards, Investor
Dinners). May require occasional evening engagements and travel.
