As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), we are looking for an accomplished SAP Enterprise Architect to support the growth in our business and delivering high-quality results consistently for our customers. Working in a critical team in ECS, you will be contributing to SAP's Global strategy of helping customers with adoption of SAP S/4HANA on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise.
SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) supports customers throughout their cloud transformation and RISE with SAP journey to adopt SAP Business Suite. We run the Intelligent Enterprise so they can be an Intelligent Enterprise. Our portfolio of SAP Cloud ERP Private and SAP Cloud Application Services turns SAP products into a solution-as-a-service on customer's preferred infrastructure, including Hyperscalers, as one SAP.
This role will be part of an existing ECS Cloud Architecture & Advisory team in EMEA. Being part of SAP's Customer Service & Delivery organization, we are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused SAP Cloud Architect to strengthen our Enterprise Cloud Services team. The Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA) acts as a primary point of contact for all technical topics from customer perspective and is working closely with our customer facing teams and delivery teams.
**WHAT YOU'LL D**
As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for the technical foundation of SAP private cloud engagements. This includes topics like Hyperscalers, infrastructure, network, and virtual private cloud deployment. You will present the offering, run workshops, and be the primary point of contact for our customers in these regards.
Internally, you will be collaborating both with our sales teams and different technical domain experts to ensure that all relevant customer questions are correctly addressed and answered. You will hand over your infrastructure design and the customer specific parameters to the build teams for them to deploy the SAP virtual private cloud.
**WHAT YOU BRIN**
+ 5 years of customer facing experience
+ High proficiency in customer communications and presentations
+ Good understanding of cloud deployments and technical capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure or GCP)
+ Understanding of data center capabilities like high availability or disaster recovery
+ Good understanding of the entire platform stack (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
+ Good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
+ Experience with implementation and operating SAP solutions.
+ SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills are a benefit
+ Foundations knowledge of cybersecurity
+ Self-sufficient worker and strong team player
+ Affinity to technical topics, willingness to tackle aspects outside the comfort zone and to continuously learn
+ Fluency in English is a must, any other language an asset.

Qualified Architect who supports concept, planning and the technical design of construction projects in a range of sectors including development of the project design, production of presentation drawings and sketches. The Architect also assists in solving design complexities. The Architect is responsible for leading specific aspects of the project and project team to assist in the overall effort of completing the various phases of the project.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Under direction of the Project Lead or a more senior project leader, develops, modifies, and reviews drawings ensuring the incorporation of design intent.
+ Duties may include the development and implementation of project design concepts, project modelling, developing sketches, conducting research and data collection, preparing presentations and reports, and general production of design and construction documents.
+ Works on multiple projects, providing concepts and techniques in ways that may explore new ways of achieving design solutions, completing tasks within established deadlines and budgets, and effectively utilizing resources to address project requirements.
+ Interacts with clients and consultants, participates on project development, and presents ideas clearly and persuasively.
+ Prepares, manages, and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details, as directed by others in the project team, following standards and archiving documents as appropriate.
+ Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established design standards.
+ May assist in the development of project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
+ Prepares 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings and renderings.
+ Compiles data and performs fundamental design computations.
+ Performs product research and may assist Project Designers and Project Architects with materials selection and system research.
+ Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate.**
People Management:
+ Able to manage junior colleges and provide guidance and support where necessary.
+ Manage design tasks and deliverables and report on progress against the design programme to the project lead. Report on the progress and risks associated with the programme.
+ Follow company values and exhibit appropriate behaviours.
+ Manage time efficiently and assist / input into team meetings to review design programme.
Business & Financial
+ Support the Project Lead in developing the project execution plan, including financial planning, and forecasting resource.
+ Input on the project programming and financial planning.
Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in the construction / architectural industry.
+ Must be a qualified Architect.
+ Working knowledge of UK building regulations and national standards.
+ Working capability and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge & Skills:
+ Technical design knowledge / skills in UK construction methodology.
+ Experience of working as part of an architectural design team managing and delivering Tender and Construction Stage works packages.
+ Have an ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically and effectively
+ Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)
