Requirements

This is a newly created role in the business to support them with the introduction of new products within the business. You will be working on some interesting projects and have the opportunity to work in many different departments, particularly within Manufacturing and Design. They are offering an attractive salary package circa to 40k to 45k, working a 39-hour contracted week and finishing earlier on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- The Manufacturing Engineer will project manage the design of new Machinery, systems, equipment and processes for the introduction of new products or the improvement of existing ones, ensuring all documentation is relevant and up to date.
- Target inefficiencies quickly using problem solving techniques such as 5 whys, A3 and Root Cause Analysis.
- Support, cost estimate and document all engineering changes.
- Ensure non-conformances within production are identified, eliminated and controls are in place to prevent reoccurrences.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes are supported by the necessary training, documentation and Quality Controls.
