Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Retail Sales Associate to join their dynamic team in the heart of Leicester, Leicestershire, UK . This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. As a Senior Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing stock, merchandising, and potentially deputising for the store manager during their absence. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging shopping experience for every customer, ensuring brand loyalty and repeat business. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers warmly, understanding their needs, and providing expert advice on products and services. You will be expected to achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the store. The role also involves maintaining store appearance, organising displays, and ensuring that all products are accurately priced and well-presented. Inventory management is a key aspect, including receiving new stock, processing returns, and conducting regular stocktakes to minimise discrepancies. Training and mentoring junior staff members will also be part of your duties, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in retail sales. A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and some public holidays, is essential. Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software is highly desirable. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
