As part of our commitment to delivering agile, high-impact creative solutions, we are establishing a new on-site Fast Response Content Centre embedded directly within our client's organisation. This dedicated hub will serve as a central engine for content creation, enabling closer collaboration, deeper brand integration, and faster turnaround on digital assets. By positioning the team at the heart of the client’s business, we ensure greater alignment with strategic priorities and the ability to produce, adapt, and deploy content at scale across multiple European markets, all while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.
This role will be based in Chertsey, with a requirement to work from the offices for 4 days per week. As with all Cheil roles, this is a 12-month fixed term contract in the first instance.

The Opportunity
The Art Director will lead creative direction within the Fast Response Content Centre, ensuring the delivery of high volumes of consistent, high-quality digital content at speed. Working across origination, bespoke asset creation, and minor adaptations, the Art Director will set the creative vision, maintain brand excellence, and enable the team to respond quickly to business and European D2C priorities.
This role is pivotal in balancing agility with creativity, managing workflows, and leveraging new tools and technologies to drive efficiency in content production.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership
- Own the creative direction of the Content Centre, ensuring outputs are on-brand, innovative, and consistent across channels.
- Provide oversight and feedback on designer and editor work, setting quality benchmarks.
- Shape briefs of low-to-mid complexity into effective content solutions.
- Support campaign teams with ideation when required, while ensuring the Content Centre owns delivery of fast-turnaround briefs.
Content Production & Oversight
- Direct origination shoots (1 motion and 1 stills scoped, with scope for more).
- Oversee development of template-driven assets (supplied by Cheil Spain), bespoke copy-visual combinations, and rapid adaptations (dates, pricing, legal).
- Ensure creation of master assets for rollout across multiple markets, formats, and sizes.
- Guarantee English master delivery (or country-of-origin as supplied).
Workflow & Tools
- Champion the use of tools and platforms to increase efficiency and creative output quality.
- Manage creative workflows using Jira.
- Guide asset development and collaboration in Figma.
- Integrate AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Mid ourney) into content production.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Act as a bridge between client stakeholders and creative teams, aligning outputs with European D2C priorities.
- Partner with campaign and marketing teams to ensure content supports wider business objectives.
- Lead collaboration across channels, ensuring rapid response and consistency of brand experience.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record as an Art Director in an in-house, agency, or high-volume content production environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence in digital, social, and eCommerce content.
- Experience in both static and motion content creation, including oversight of stills and video shoots.
- Strong understanding of template creative systems, asset rollouts, and localisation processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to balance speed, volume, and creativity under tight deadlines.

Developing and delivering the artistic direction and visual identity of marketing and photography campaigns within the FMCG sector, with specific focus in food and drink . MAIN DUTIES
Working closely with the Creative Directors and wider creative team, the main duties include – but not limited to:
- Conceptualisation and ideation - Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with creative teams to generate innovative ideas.

- Ensure that creative concepts align with brand guidelines and channel best practices as well as resonate with the target audience.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Willing to travel, if shooting on location.
