About the Role
Broadway Malyan are hiring a number of urban design positions. In this role you will be based in Broadway Malyan London design studio and you will be responsible for a range of masterplans in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. You will report to our Head of Urban Design and work closely with our placemaking and architectural designers.
Design & Technical Skills:
- Strong concept design, masterplanning, and visualisation skills.
- Good understanding of urban design principles.
- Proficient in Rhino (Grasshopper a plus) and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Able to prepare and develop high-quality drawings, models, and reports.
- Positive and collaborative team member
- Skilled in modelling and graphic communication
- A flexible and open attitude in fast paced environment
- Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A professional degree in Architecture or Landscape with a Masters in Urban Design
- 3-6+ years post-qualification experience working on medium and/or large-scale urban design/master planning projects (project experience from the Middle East is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- Strong ability with Rhino and Adobe Suite (Grasshopper and GIS is a plus)
