Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 depending on relevant experience

We’re working with an award-winning creative design consultancy who are looking for a Mid-Weight Industrial Designer to join their London team.
With over 30 years’ experience working with globally recognised brands, they’re known for creating innovative, game-changing products that have earned patents, industry awards, and a reputation for excellence.
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll take projects from concept through to execution , providing both creative and technical input. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams, translating complex requirements into beautifully executed design solutions that balance usability, innovation, and technical feasibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead projects from concept to delivery, providing creative and technical direction
- Translate client requirements into tangible design outcomes
- Apply technical knowledge to work within project constraints while innovating with new technologies
- Produce high-quality 3D designs using SolidWorks (experience in Rhino, Blender, Unreal, or Substance Painter a plus)
- Create engaging sketches, drawings, and presentations supported by a strong portfolio
- Research design trends, emerging technologies, and usability insights
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and colleagues, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience as an Industrial Designer (transport sector experience a strong advantage – airlines, rail, marine, automotive)
- A relevant qualification in Industrial or Product Design
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks , with additional skills in Rhino, Blender, Unreal, or Substance Painter desirable
- Exceptional creative drawing and visualisation skills , demonstrated through a stunning portfolio
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently when needed
- Professional communication skills and a detail-driven mindset
