The Firm
Established in 2020, KP Law (previously Keller Postman) is a specialist litigation boutique, focussing on collective redress.
The firm has over 100 employees across offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool, , representing over 250,000 individual clients across a range of cases in areas such as product liability, competition, worker rights, data breach and privacy and financial services.

The Role
As Legal Director you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and oversight of all group litigation claims within the role remit, including the supervision and development of all direct reports. In addition, you will work with the wider senior leadership team to develop new case opportunities and act as a subject matter expert within your area of practice.
Role Responsibilities
The role will include, but is not limited to:
- Strategic leadership of cases, including consideration of legal issues and available resources, to progress litigation and reach successful outcomes for our clients.
- Acting as subject matter expert and escalation point for all case related queries.
- Working with other Practice Groups and the Operations Team to build and embed best practice case management processes and systems.
- Effective management and development of legal and other professional staff.
- Leading marketing research activities into issues that may lead to successful litigation aligned with our brand.
- Building and maintaining a wide and varied network of contacts to facilitate the introduction of new matters into the business.
Person Specification
- Qualified UK solicitor with proven experience in a Legal Director or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Significant litigation experience, ideally within group claims and collective redress.
- Knowledge and experience of competition law / experience litigating in the competition appeal tribunal is an advantage.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully leading and managing teams.
- Outstanding analytical, innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment with consistently high levels of performance.
- Ability to build rapport easily and create effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset with a keen desire to take on new projects.
