We are looking for a Workforce Management Administrator to join our team at HMP Dovegate - a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire where we care for up to 1160 male adult prisoners over the age of 21 serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving long and short term sentences.
The Job Opportunity:
The Workforce Management Administrator will be responsible for the delivery of staff working rosters in a cost effective manner, and will be required to ensure all posts are covered at all times, ensuring that staff are made available to undertake other activities such as training and to undertake additional responsibilities. You will work on your own initiative, with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Daily Duties Involved:
- Responsible for supporting the WFM Lead in ensuring the contract is appropriately resourced to deliver the service through following WFM best practise ways of working
- Support WFM Lead in working with the Operations Leads to identify and review business requirements – i.e. review and approve changes in demand or capacity plans
- Amend cover shifts based on gaps between demand and actual staffing
- Run staff availability report to check availability for allocation to overtime/ Bed Watch shifts
- Create, amend and delete shifts to manage schedules on a daily basis, such as create overtime/ Bed Watch shifts based on requirements
- Amend individual staff maximum daily hours where needed in order to assign additional shifts/hours to staff.
- Review Staff Leave requests, including approving Leave (in WFM Lead absence) and adding of other types of leave to schedules where managers have approved the time off
- Administer rosters, accounting for:
Employee change requests (leaves and shift swaps) - Reviewing and managing coverage gaps including use of planned cross-deployment, overtime

Position: Workforce Management (WFM) & QA Expert
Salary: up to £100,000
Location: Hybrid in London, UK
Are you a workforce management & QA expert with experience overhauling & designing WFM processes on a global enterprise scale?
We are seeking a WFM & QA expert with a strong background full sales cycle management who can strategically drive new business. You will be joining a growing team in a leading global organization who are currently investing heavily in overhauling their WFM processes to become AI-native and optimized for performance, productivity, and employee engagement.
What do you need?
- Expertise in workforce management strategy, across platforms like NICE, Genesys, Verint, Alvaria, Assembled, Playvoc, Calabrio, injixo, CommunityWFM, Tymeshift, or QStory.
- Strong change management, senior stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with tools like BI, SQL, and Excel.
