About the Supply Chain Manager role
You’ll come into the Supply Chain Manager role managing spend more than £25m, you and your team will manage different category areas and varying customer requests. You’ll work closely with Warehouse, Logistics and Inventory to ensure warehousing space is available, that inventory is accurate and that we continue to be an agile and efficient partner for our customers. Service levels are fundamental to ensure we deliver on our customer commitments.

- Proven track record leading supply chain or purchasing teams at scale.
- Experience managing significant spend (£5m+) with multiple suppliers. Candidates managing 00m upwards will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of modern planning methodologies (e.g. Demand Driven, S&OP, advanced MRP).
- Hands-on experience with supply chain planning software preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience within similar industry preferred (e.g. MRO, OEM, Manufacturing or Engineering)

Essential skills / experience include:
- A hands on, flexible and adaptable approach with a positive attitude

- Using Sage 200 for purchase order and shipment data entry
- Accurate and timely data entry to support business reporting.
- Checking Sales Contracts from Suppliers correlate with Purchase Order requirement.
- Administration of both electronic and paper-based filing systems
- Booking deliveries into Sage 200 system
- Accurate and timely to enable visibility of warehouse stock.
- Action stock adjustments and transfers in Sage 200 based on instructions from warehouse operations teams.
- Adhoc support within the Supply Team department or other teams in the business
Supply Chain Administrator Requirements
- Able to work to deadlines, have excellent attention to detail and be a confident communicator.
- The role has many areas of responsibility and requires daily liaison with key teams including the Chinese sourcing office, sales and finance teams.
- Excellent organisational and communicational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of Sage 200 preferred
