Are you a Technical Sales Engineer or similar from a Lab / Research Equipment / Furnaces background looking for an autonomous, technical role selling specialist equipment within a dynamic, multi-national company who have ambitious goals of expansion providing the opportunity to continually progress to senior roles?

This well-established company provide a range of specialist industrial furnaces and associated equipment for a broad client base- primarily research companies and universities- but also selling to some manufacturing and pharmaceutical companies. In this autonomous role you will be the go-to person for providing technical product and project support for a broad client base. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with a remote, multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.

  • Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and contribute to publications.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of post-doctoral or industry R&D experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a specialized area of biotechnology with a strong publication record.
  • Proven experience in leading research projects and mentoring scientific staff.
  • Proficiency in advanced data analysis techniques and relevant software (e.g., R, Python, specific bioinformatics tools).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and scientific creativity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote setting.

The role is fully remote, but the ideal candidate will be located within commuting distance of Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK , to facilitate occasional team gatherings or site visits if required by specific projects.
