Rota: Monday to Friday
Hours: 06:00 - 14:00 / 10:00 - 18:00 rotating on a weekly basis
Streamline is looking to fill the role of 1 X Lab Technicians for a flour milling set based in Tilbury Docks. This is an immediate start opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting and collaborating with other Lab Technicians to check moisture levels in grains ready for processing
- Working in rotating shifts: 6am-2pm and 12noon-8pm, Monday to Friday
- Training provided
- Opportunity for the contract role to be extended and go permanent
Requirements:

They are currently looking to an extra member of staff to the testing team of their QC laboratory.
Key duties include:
- Sample receipt and cataloguing on LIMS system li>Moisture Testing
- Conductivity testing
- Voltage breakdown testing
- Bespoke testing for the oil industry.
- Sample prep for HPLC and ICP amongst other analytical techniques
- Associate Wet chemist work and general lab stewardship.
- Recording of results and report preparation.
The hours are 8.30am - 5pm Mon - Thursday, with a 4pm finish on Friday.
Pay rate is £12.21/hr

To perform routine testing of samples for elemental content in accordance with SOPs using classical and instrumental techniques within a fast-paced commercial laboratory environment.
