We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Dental Lab Manager / Dental Technician to join a modern, forward-thinking dental clinic in Stockport. You’ll be working in a fully digital lab environment with cutting-edge technology, focusing on full-arch implant restorations and crown & bridge work.
This full-time role has salary range of £30,000 - £60,000 and benefits. Candidates must have strong digital skills and experience using CAD/CAM design software, ideally Exocad or similar.
You will be responsible for:
- Design and manufacture dental restorations using Exocad and CAD/CAM systems
- Produce All-On-X full arch implant and crown & bridge solutions.
- Operate advanced dental milling machines and 3D printers.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and other dental professionals.
- Maintain high standards in digital dental production and lab operations.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Dental Technician, Dental Technologist, Lab Technician, Laboratory Technician or in a similar role.
- GDC registered Dental Technician or Dental Lab Manager.
- 3-4 years of experience in a dental lab environment.
- Minimum 2 years of CAD/CAM and digital workflow experience.
- Experience using CAD/CAM design software, ideally Exocad or similar.
- Right to work in the UK.

As a Global Lab and System Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of product specialist that will be working across the Engineering Delivery function, NPI and Product Care function reporting directly to the Head of Control and Protection Verification & Validation Engineering Leader.
This role includes developing department talent, engineering process management, provide technical guidance, mentoring, drive consistent design practices and provide technical solution that meets the needs of NPI, Product Care and Project Delivery in the domain of Lab commissioning and system commissioning (on customer site).
Additionally, you will be responsible for harmonisation of process, lesson learned, design guides, tools and good practices globally.
**Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Accountable for application of the departmental standard installation/testing, quality & HSE (Health, Safety & environment) practices and guidelines globally.
+ Be Involved from the requirements phase, ensuring requirements are SMART and testable.
+ Manage the testing for the full hardware and software development lifecycle test management.
+ Establish a standard process to assess, review and record the testing needs and boundaries of each project to ensure that the control system is verified to the maximum extent possible before leaving the factory.
+ Be familiar with the regulatory requirements specific to the lab and ensures all users are incompliance with those standards.
+ Oversees laboratory safety and ensures that the laboratory remains in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. In cases where non-compliance is found, documents the instances as well as how they were abated
+ Generate standard plans, procedures and specifications for the Development of Integration System Tests, Full System Tests, and Factory Acceptance Tests and Commissioning Tests at site plans and procedures.
+ To Provide immediate feedback and seek to correct behaviours of the team that do not foster a good culture or contribute towards unsafe behaviour or bad practices that jeopardize our achievements.
+ Ensures that standard process, policies, and procedures are defined and adhered to in all geographical location of verification and validation department.
+ Provide leadership and technical direction to a to meet project and departmental specific objectives·
+ Prepare/contributing to the generation of standard commissioning test procedure in coordination with System Engineering / Project Validation & verification Lead and reference to contractual requirements and international standards.
+ Gathering a return of experience throughout the execution of the testing of each project, to provide a conclusive report on the return of experience at the end of the project.
**Qualifications & Requirements**
+ Degree in Electronics / Electrical engineering or related field.
+ Significant and demonstrated years of experience in power generation, systems design, development and operation of Control System.
+ Demonstrable Technical Leadership experience.
+ Demonstrated years of proven experience in the position of Commissioning Engineer in High Voltage field.
+ Good knowledge of overall 400kV substation, HVDC system (LCC/VSC/SVC) including control and protection system.
+ Knowledge of Overall HVDC System Operational behaviour and impact on equipment to make decisions when leading system testing at site is essential.
+ Proven technical leadership in a complex system engineering development environment.
+ Knowledge of Control and Protection cubicle Circuit Diagram, field cabling protection relays, HV/MV/LV switchgear, IED's and Distributed control system.
+ Knowledge of Requirements Management.
+ Excellent communication skills with a fluency in English language.
+ Must be able and willing to work both in Office and on sites worldwide for extended periods.
