Role Overview

The Robotics Lab Technician plays a key support role within the Robotics team, ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of all robotic platforms and associated infrastructure.   • Robot Maintenance and Fault Resolution
  • Carry out routine inspections, calibrations, and preventative maintenance on robotic systems.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail in both practical work and documentation.
  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, with clear and professional communication.
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System), Linux systems, or serial communication tools.

Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machinery, or laser cutting equipment.
  • Basic scripting or programming (e.g. Python, Bash)
