I am recruiting an Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst to join our Client with Responsibilities and Duties to include:
- To carry out detailed investigative research on individuals and companies on a Global basis, to analyse research findings, and then write high quality client reports based on that research.
- You will be working alongside an interesting and professional team of whom have various language skills.
The Person :
- You will be able to produce high quality written reports in English.
- Proven skills in other languages would be an advantage.
- You will be a graduate (but work experiences with transferable skills will be reviewed.
- You will be hard-working and will need a high degree of accuracy, an inquisitive mind and the ability to obtain and analyse research findings.
- You should be able to summarize complex issues in a reader friendly style.
- You should have a passion for writing and presenting ideas and be able to take responsibility for your work product.
- Ideally you will have relevant experience for this role, but extensive training and support is given to candidates who we believe have the potential to succeed.

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Consultant to play a significant role in the future success of our due diligence and wider advisory team. You should be keen to develop a broad understanding of infrastructure projects and as part of this role you will be working with infrastructure investors, lenders, international finance corporations and financial advisors.
+ Supporting the delivery of projects and advising clients to provide integrated commercial and technical advisory assignments in the Transport, Mobility and other emerging sectors. Supporting the production of business plans and due diligence reports, ensuring consistency and quality.
+ Supporting the development and management of relationships with existing and new clients.
+ Alongside experienced team members you will be representing WSP at client meetings.
+ Preparing analysis and high quality reports, conveying complex commercial and technical issues in a simple form.

The Investor Advisory team has a strong track record of supporting clients at the early stage of projects such as feasibility plans, market forecasts as well as technical assessment of complex projects. Our key clients cover a wide range of different organisations in the private and public sectors. Key clients include financial institutions (pension funds, investors and financiers), operators (ports, rail, buses, highways and mobility) and wider industry.
The Advisory team is currently diversifying from a strong transport client base and has successfully developed its expertise into new sectors, namely industrial clients, major government programmes (e.g. Port Infrastructure Fund, UK Freeports) as well as mobility and core+ sectors.
We are regularly involved from project origination through to completion, as well as during asset optimisation and modernisation and/or expansion of existing facilities. Our front-end consultancy is supported by 79,000 technical specialists globally. Our offer includes transaction services (including PPP), investment advisory, market studies, demand forecasting, technical and financial feasibility and management consultancy services.
**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate.**
+ Analytical skills, and ability to work with lots of quantitative data.
+ Advanced excel modelling skills and working according to best practice excel modelling principles.
+ Experience in preparing and writing good quality reports.

Your role will specifically focus on projects across material processing and manufacturing, helping clients understand technical risks for next era infrastructure projects. The Infrastructure and Economic Advisory team have a strong track record of supporting clients at all stages of the project lifecycle. Your success in this role will revolve around delivery of precise and accurate reports, delivering against an agreed scope of work and collaborating with the team in identifying and understanding technical and/or project schedule risk. Development within the role will see you taking on board more responsibility in delivering larger sections of reports unaided, however guidance and training will be given in role to help you achieve this and to become a more independent consultant in the process.
Your role will allow you to provide a unique technical perspective, and to develop knowledge across the cleantech sector as well as developing client facing professional skills at senior to C-suite levels within a client organisation.
**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate.**
+ Experience within a manufacturing / chemical process engineering / technical consulting environment.
+ Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or closely related STEM subject.

We offer a full range of technical advice in the infrastructure sector and real estate within the PPP/PFI/P3 markets in the UK, Europe, and North America. We have been offering these services for over 20 years and are widely recognised as a leading consultant in this field.
An opportunity has arisen for a due diligence technical adviser to strengthen our team; as a result, we are considering applications for a professional at principal level. The role will be based in our London Chancery Lane or Birmingham Mailbox office.
You will be a Principal PPP and Property Services team member focusing on transport-related assets, responsible for managing project delivery across the United Kingdom and overseas regions. Key responsibilities will include:
+ Project manage technical due diligence activities on high-profile projects primarily in the transportation sector; knowledge and/or experience in other sectors such as real estate, social infrastructure and healthcare will be an advantage.
+ Lead and/or contribute to the technical delivery of due diligence projects
+ Assist in business development activities with existing and new clients

**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate.**
+ A track record in providing technical advice in infrastructure investment and finance particularly on PPP/PFI/P3 projects.
+ Relevant degree in civil/structural engineering or a numerate discipline, e.g., economics, mathematics, or science-based.
+ Chartered or near chartered status or equivalent professional qualifications.
+ Knowledge and experience of the various stages of infrastructure development, from initial support to bidders through to financial close, construction, operations monitoring, maintenance, and refinancing.
+ Understanding of operational, financial, commercial, and management principles
+ Experience in reviewing PPP contracts, payment mechanisms, asset management programmes, risk assessment, and technical inputs into financial model.
