Client KYC Group "CKG" is set up to support MUFG Bank and Securities business to manage the client KYC for New Business and Periodic assessments thereby enhancing client experience and generating efficiencies. Client KYC Group function for EMEA covers onboarding, Periodic assessments, Quality Controls, Quality Assurance Policy & Training along with AML and Shared services functions including BoW management, Screening etc.
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
This individual will be responsible for conducting Quality Control (QC) assessments across new on-boarding, Periodic Reviews and Event Driven Reviews, working mainly on MUFG Bank Paris Branch customers.
Reporting to the QC Lead, the individual will be a member of the Client On-Boarding Team that covers a highly varied portfolio of entities - ranging from simple customers to more complex structures and entities. As such it will be key for this individual to fully understand the KYC profile of the customers reviewed, and to assist the QC Lead in designing an effective Quality Control program, identifying and escalating risks appropriately.
This function is critical during both on-boarding and other reviews to ensure that the KYC process effectively mitigates the risks of Money Laundering, Bribery and Corruption, reputational and any other associate risks. With this in mind, the successful individual needs to have good experience within KYC, and a demonstrable strong knowledge of the AML/KYC environment.
Key stakeholders in this role are; Operational KYC counterparts, QA Counterparts, London and Paris Compliance, Front Office Relationship Managers/ Account Officers (JCIB and GCIB) and Audit. Working closely with stakeholders to both standardize and clarify requirements and proactively identify future issues with procedures/process. Driving forward and influencing change is therefore essential in this role.
This function will also assist the lead in the development and roll out of a suite of training (related to requirements / roles and responsibilities) for new and existing individuals within the team and for those within the various front office functions, where required. Working closely with individuals to improve the understanding of both the process and the underlying rationale for requirements.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
In this role, you will be responsible for:
+ review of the contents of the KYC file in CISNET to ensure that the contents in CISNET match with the attachments and comply with the requirements set out in the relevant KYC procedures and Operating Manuals
+ review of the screening checklist (to check whether World-Check and Factiva screenings have been correctly performed and that all hits have been correctly dispositioned on the checklist)
+ review of the data format (to ensure that the names are spelt accurately in CISNET and are entered under the adequate format).
+ review of the final risk rating of the customer (to ensure that it is in line with the rules set out in the Paris KYC Operating Manual)
+ Complete the QC Checklist for each KYC file reviewed
+ Liaise with all stakeholders involved in the KYC Process (including the Paris-based teams KYC teams on both GCIB and JCIB sides, Paris Compliance and Risk Department, and as the case may be Paris branch General Management)
+ Organize a KYC meeting on a monthly basis (agenda: tracking overdue cases, upcoming reviews etc., identifying any blocking points, reviewing QA metrics) including Paris branch stakeholders
+ Provide metrics/feedback on the quality of the KYC files (using the QC checklist) at the end of each month to Paris Compliance and General Management and other stakeholders as the case may be.
+ Providing relevant metrics/reports as required (regulators, GFCD, Head Office, etc)
+ Liaise with Paris Compliance for any clarifications/enhancements relating to the Paris KYC Operating Manual
+ Manage and track findings issued by the QA Team (providing response to QA team)
+ Review the frequency of periodic reviews as part of the "Book of Work" project managed by CMS
+ Ensure bank reliance between "shared" customers between Paris branch and MUSEU is enabled
+ Any other tasks related to the KYC process
In particular the individual will be responsible for:
+ Ensuring that thorough and effective Customer Due Diligence is completed, by conducting Quality Control Assessments on entities/structures across all business lines (predominantly the complex structure/entities/product offerings) - including New Business, Periodic Reviews and Event Driven Reviews. Raising issues and ensuring appropriate actions are undertaken before KYC approval.
+ Identifying thematic issues within the On-Boarding process, highlighting to management and recommending appropriate actions.
+ Liaising with Quality Assurance on any issues identified within the QA process, to consider impact and where needed make relevant changes to the QC process. In addition, where remedial action is required - liaising and notifying the operational leads accordingly.
+ Liaising with Financial Crime KYC team on any issues identified within the 2nd line checks / testing, to consider impact and where needed make relevant changes to the QC process. In addition, where remedial action is required - liaising and notifying the operational leads accordingly.
+ Supporting the QC Lead to understand, challenge and implement any changes to procedures.
+ Assisting in the development of a suite of Training for New & Existing Team members on all KYC/On-Boarding procedural related aspects.
+ Delivering training, where required, to front office representatives on KYC/On-Boarding procedural related aspects.
+ Delivering and support lean processes, to deliver effective and efficient KYC process.
+ Training and Development of more junior members of the team
+ Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in relation to all AML On-Boarding aspects, assisting on ad-hoc queries where required.
+ Supporting the QC Lead, producing relevant reports to key counterparties, identifying and resolving Anti Money Laundering/Sanctions issues or concerns, and providing support/guidance to more junior members of the team.
+ Keep abreast of developments in current trends and progress on money laundering, bribery and corruption and it prevention.
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
Essential:
+ At least 3 years' experience in Anti Money Laundering, fraud and bribery or Financial Crime roles (ESSENTIAL)
+ Experience with Investment Banking & the On-Boarding of Corporate entities (Inc. Private Companies and SPVs) (ESSENTIAL)

**Issuer Services** cover the Primary market activity as Agent issuing Debt securities and Common Depository managing lifecycle events for Eurobonds, Global Bonds and Euro and Medium Term Note Programmes. Roles include bond issuance, safekeeping, record keeping and lifecycle event management. The team also cover MUFG Issued Notes and SPV's.
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
The Issuer Services team is in a pivotal position within MUFG Bank London and MUFG Securities EMEA covering a wide range of key primary market roles such as Agent, WHT Agent, Registrar, Common Depository as well as covering all operational aspects of MUFG's Note issuance and SPV programmes.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Issuer Services team in the processing and reviewing of all new issues and subsequent lifecycle events including Interest Rate calculations, Interest payments, Conversions and Redemptions. The team also work closely with the Issuance business based in Tokyo who are centre point for the Bank's Japanese customers.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
The main roles and responsibilities of the department and this role are:
+ Common Depository - Administration and Safekeeping of the Global Bonds.
+ Timely processing of Interest Letters and Payments.
+ Timely processing of New Issue Closing process.
+ Producing periodical reporting as required and within agreed timelines.
+ Vault maintenance.
+ Compiling evidence when requested by the SI team.
+ Bond Agency - cross training and assisting with new issue / programme and transaction management for Euro Bond issues whereby MUFG have been appointed as Agent up to and including, signing and closing, by liaising with external parties including the issuer, lead managers, lawyers, and ICSD's.
+ Principal Paying Agent - Ensuring safe settlement of funds.
+ Calculation Agent - Calculating interest rates for FRN bonds.
+ Issuing Agent - Liaising with Euroclear and external dealers to set up ISIN's for new bonds.
+ Taxation Agent - Ensuing correct amounts are submitted to Tax Office on the Issuers behalf.
+ Conversion Agent - Instruct the execution of conversions and exchanges to the local CSD's.
+ MUFG Programme management and SPV Issuance programmes - day to day administration of the issuance of own notes including Calculation Agent, Corporate Action events & safe settlement of funds to the PPA and RM for external stakeholders.
+ Strict adherence to CASS ensuring all CASS related procedures are documented and up-to-date.
Supervisory Duties include:
+ Supervising team members and joining 1-2-1's with the team line manager.
+ Co-ordinating query management for the team ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely manner.
+ Diary Management (TMS).

**WORK EXPERIENCE**

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
Within the Trade Finance Middle Office, assist with, and gain experience in, the monitoring of exposures to ensure approved limits are respected. Assist with, and gain experience in, the maintenance, creation and set up of all necessary controls and administrative duties (including the operational aspects of the transaction management system ('TRAC'), required for facility and day to day operation.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Essential Functions:**
+ With support, perform reviews of term sheets, credit applications (Ringi's) & facility documentation from an operational perspective to ensure workability. This will ensure smooth and efficient deal processing when necessary without unnecessary delays.
+ Gain experience in the review of client drawdown requests to ensure that transactions are in accordance with the terms of the approved facilities.
+ Gain experience in the review of Guarantee wording client requests in line with governing rules such as ISP 98 and URDG 758 to ensure that they respect the terms of approved facilities and that the Bank is protected from a Legal Standpoint.
+ Primarily provide administrative support for all products related to the ETBO for non-commodity related business together with assistance to CSTF for commodity related business if/when required.
+ Gain experience in daily liaison with respective stake holders such as clients, relationship, product managers and operational units.
+ Assisting and gaining experience in the monitoring and control of the complete ETBO exposure under the present facility portfolio. This will help to ensure the correct determination of facility availability at time of new requests or enquiries, and allow decisions to be made that cause transactions to be cancelled or repaid.
+ To assist with the monitoring of inward communications and prioritisation according to the importance of subject matter with an emphasis on client centricity.
+ Become familiar with individual processes and business flows for each different client; with a view to taking client ownership within the team once knowledge based deemed adequate. This is an essential function necessary for client experience and knowledge level up to new or additional members joining TFMO.
+ Monitor balances between Bank's accounting system and exposure management tools for all allocated or monitored limits in order to retain an accurate record of exposure.
+ To gain experience and assist with obtaining reporting from the Jasper system and helping to ensure this correctly reflects the exposure relative to the facilities under the control and management of TFMO, and that at the appropriate reconciliation periods the control systems (TRAC) are in parallel with the banks accounting system OVS.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Native level of Japanese language skill (speaking/reading/writing).
+ 3-5 years' experience as a Language Quality Specialist dealing with multilingual projects.
+ Mediation/negotiation skills in working with people from different countries and cultures.

+ High level of commitment and motivation is essential.
+ Higher education in translation-related studies, or equivalent experience.

The School is passionate about creating a vision for the ongoing development, socially, emotionally and physically, prioritising an open and honest approach where children feel understood, nurtured and supported. They are seeking a BSL Specialist to support to deliver their curriculum across Key staged 3-5.
The successful BSL Specialist will have:
- Experience working within SEND settings
- Experience supporting children in groups or 1:1
- Excellent classroom management
- A caring and nurturing personality
- BSL Level 2 or 3 Qualification
