We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with Speech and Language background to work in a primary school on behalf of a school in Newham London. Starting ASAP this role is full-time and lasting until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extending beyond that.
You would be focused in KS1/KS2, with split responsibilities. Sharing responsibility with another staff member, your time will be split between working generally within the classroom, and supporting a non-verbal child with Speech and Language Difficulties. There is no challenging behaviour, but knowledge of PECS and Welcome would be advantageous. Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is essential.
