Your new role
As Lead Data Scientist, you'll take ownership of a small but growing data team, currently consisting of two Analysts and one Data Scientist. Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll be responsible for shaping the data science strategy, implementing scalable processes, and delivering impactful insights across the business. You'll work hands-on with machine learning, AI, and LLMs to solve complex problems, while also mentoring your team and engaging with senior stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a senior or lead data science role
- Strong hands-on skills in Python and SQL
- Solid experience with Machine Learning, AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Previous people management experience (ideally managing Analysts/Data Scientists)
- Ability to implement and improve data science processes and workflows
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile tech environment
- Must be UK-based and eligible to work without sponsorship

We are working with a high-growth performance marketing and technology company who are looking for a new Lead Data Scientist to join the team.
