Through the application of industrial expertise, our Industrial Advisory team acts as both a standalone business and supports AECOM projects in the UK&I region and also globally:

We are currently recruiting for experienced professionals at both Senior and Consultant levels reporting to an Industrial Advisory sector lead supporting our smart manufacturing offering. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical and commercial success of projects delivered.

The Industrial Advisory team is a key part of the Advisory Services. and as a member of the team, you will:
Support development of the value propositions for Industrial Advisory capabilities applied into manufacturing environments but most significantly providing Smart Manufacturing inputs to propositions.
Support the development of innovative thought leadership that sets AECOM apart from its competitors.
* Support the development of best practice methods and standards for Smart Manufacturing implementation and production data integration to apply throughout Advisory Services and into the wider AECOM organisation.
Develop a network throughout AECOM to promote Industrial Advisory into projects and with their clients.
Develop client relationships through project delivery and in support of business development.
Support the development of solutions to business/client challenges developed from a foundation of understanding or analysis of business practices and goals.
Collaborate with members of the Advisory Services teams to formulate strategy and develop exciting offerings that maximise the potential of the wider AECOM team.

A background working as part of an in-house manufacturing/engineering project team; or with a system integrator within a heavily automated production industry.
You will have significant in-depth practical experience in designing and delivering full shopfloor to cloud data integration projects using one or more of the main vendoru2019s product suites.
Demonstrable experience in relevant manufacturing/process/logistics industries.
Experience or be willing to develop consulting capacity and developing stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrate initiative and a desire for dealing with complex problems.
Able to listen to clients, understand and form compelling arguments for our services.
Flexible and willing to work away from the office to meet our client or business demands.
We envisage that the role will be Hybrid working linked to an AECOM office in either our Manchester, Nottingham, or Warrington offices around the North West of England, however there will be a need for regular travel to other locations, mainly across the UK, but also Europe and further afield as required.
