We are looking for an experienced professional to lead operational improvement initiatives within a high-tech manufacturing environment. The role would suit applicants who are skilled in Lean principles, continuous improvement, and project management within production operations. Candidates will ideally have experience driving productivity, cost efficiency, and quality improvements across a manufacturing or engineering setting.


The Role:

• Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across production processes

• Identify and implement waste reduction and efficiency improvements using Lean tools and methodologies

• Support value stream performance through SQCDP metrics, reporting, and root cause analysis

• Lead strategic projects to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets

• Facilitate visual management, Gemba walks, Kaizen events, and employee engagement in improvement activities

• Coach and develop colleagues in continuous improvement techniques, including apprentice rotations


The Person:

• Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing/Operational Excellence, ideally with Green Belt or equivalent

• Skilled in project management, data analysis, and performance reporting

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

• Commercially aware and able to deliver both short-term efficiency and longer-term operational improvements
