Job Description
We are seeking to appoint Lecturers in ESOL (1 permanent full time post and 1 permanent part time post (14.4 hours per week)), to teach on full and part-time ESOL courses on a range of levels from Pre-Entry to Level 2 including group tutorials, numeracy and IT for ESOL. These courses are at our Harrow-on-the-Hill and Harrow Weald Campuses.
You will possess a minimum of Level 3 in a relevant vocational area, together with an approved English Language Specialist Teaching qualification (minimum CELTA/ Cert TESOL) and should have experience of teaching ESOL, preferably in an FE setting. You should also be able to deliver Numeracy (Entry to Level 1) or Essential Digital Skills/vocational subjects to ESOL students. You will possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, or be willing to work towards this, supported by the College. You will be willing and able to teach 1 evening per week until 9.00pm.

Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a full time and a part time Lecturer on a fixed term basis until 14th July 2026, to plan and deliver across a range of courses within Foundation Studies, particularly focusing on the Access to FE programmes, taking an active role in developing learners’ skills for independence and preparing them for employment or further study. You will also be involved in the development of the programmes within the area.
You will need to possess a degree in a relevant subject area (or minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial teaching experience in Foundation) and have experience of teaching within the Foundation Learning area including Functional Skills, together with up-to-date knowledge of good practice in this area. A Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector would be an advantage.
These posts will initially be based at Uxbridge Campus, however in time it is anticipated you will also be required to work at Barra Hall, Hayes.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading Further Education college in Harrow for two passionate and dedicated Lecturers in ESOL to join the School of English, ESOL and Maths.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support learners from diverse backgrounds, delivering engaging and effective English language teaching from Pre-Entry to Level 2, alongside group tutorials, numeracy, and IT for ESOL.
About the Role:
• Deliver high-quality ESOL teaching across a range of levels and courses.
