Key duties will involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation. You will conduct thorough legal research, analyse complex legal issues, and provide clear, concise, and actionable advice to internal stakeholders. Staying updated on relevant legislation and case law, and advising on the implications for the business, will be a primary function.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience. Expertise in commercial law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance is essential. Experience in data privacy, intellectual property, or employment law would be advantageous.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required. You must be adept at interpreting complex legal information and conveying it effectively to non-legal professionals. Proficiency in legal research databases and document management systems is a must.
This role demands a proactive approach to risk management and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards. You will work collaboratively with various business units, acting as a trusted legal partner. The ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality legal advice with minimal supervision is key.
