To deliver robust quality claims handling, with a key focus on client outcomes for Minster Law clients, to generate fee income and contribute to the general success of the business. You will manage a caseload of Litigated Motorcycle Fast Track cases.
Team allocation will be determined by the business need and your current experience, knowledge and skill set; however types of cases managed may vary as the business needs require from time to time and commensurate with your skill set.
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for a caseload of RTA Motorcycle Fast Track Litigated claims, following Minster Law best practise, in order to progress your claims through to settlement.
- Ownership of the client relationship ensuring that the right outcome is achieved and the client’s claim is optimized.
- Ability to deal with cases of complexity, causation arguments, and denials of liability with minimal supervision.
- Assess liability and quantum to include reviewing medical reports and researching and obtaining relevant case law.
- Drafting schedules of special damages and assessing suitable awards for compensation for pain, suffering and loss of amenity, and other general damages.
- Negotiate with third parties to ensure we receive the best settlement figures for our clients in a proactive and timely manner, identify litigation opportunities where appropriate.
- Drafting Court proceedings, dealing with direction questionnaires, adhering to court directions and timescales, preparing relevant documents for disclosure, dealing with telephone hearings, submitting evidence and instructing Counsel/other appropriate experts as required.

The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is an international volunteers-led think tank supporting and advocating the application of blockchain technology in the global fight against climate change.
We are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Legal Advisor VOLUNTEERS to join our Director-General’s Office (Legal Advisory Section) . The ideal candidate is driven and experienced, and looking to make a difference in international climate change governance. The successful candidate will provide expert and strategic legal advice to the Director-General, Chief of Staff, Company Secretary, and all BCI divisions, concerning the legal obligations and operations of BCI and assist in the minimization of any legal risk exposure, including employment law, contract law, privacy law, and competition law, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the Legal Advisory Section and supervising legal advisors;
- Providing advice on legal matters;
- Evaluating and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action;
- Supporting the formulation or review of internal governance policies and managing the impact of external factors;
