Legal Content Specialist, Manchester office
- You will be instrumental in shaping our offering and ensuring LEAP’s position as the best Personal Injury software solution in the UK market.
- Alongside the Head of Personal Injury, you will identify opportunities for future development and content projects to enhance the end consumer experience, developing and delivering new forms and precedents to improve usage, engaging with customers and other stakeholders to source feedback, and reporting KPI’s to the team.
- Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Requirements
What you'll do
- Research forms, legislation, and legal processes relevant to Personal Injury.
- Create, update and deliver high quality automated legal forms and precedents for use by law firms.
- Use of dedicated automaton tools using the latest Microsoft technology to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organisational standards.
- Utilise JavaScript to enhance the functionality and interactivity of our forms and precedents, enabling dynamic content and customised user experiences (full training provided).
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure forms function correctly with the software, validating data entry fields, JavaScript elements and fixing any issues that arise.
- Develop and maintain an outstanding knowledge of LEAP & it’s companion products.
- Promote use of LEAP products & drive adoption in Personal Injury.
- Ensure LEAP’s processes comply with up-to-date legislation within Personal Injury.
- Attend industry events to speak with existing customers and build strong relationships.
What you'll bring
- 1-2 years’ experience working within Personal Injury.
- Very comfortable using Microsoft Word.
- Experience of case management systems and document automation systems would be advantageous.
- A passion for technology.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); skilled in dealing sensitively with clients.
- A strong attention to detail.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Editing a wide range of legal and regulatory documents for publication on Pendragon’s Perspective platform.
• Preparing content using SGML and other software tools, with full training provided.
• Handling source materials including primary and secondary legislation, regulatory texts, UK and foreign law reports, Government consultations, and related materials relevant to UK pensions professionals.
• Proofreading, applying legislative amendments, linking defined terms to definitions, creating hyperlinks, and drafting editorial notes.
• Summarising pensions news stories and surveys into concise, accessible abstracts for our daily news service.
• Reviewing news content produced by other Editors to ensure accuracy.
• Delivering client training sessions on the Perspective platform, both virtually and in-person, requiring occasional travel across the UK.
