Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize complex diaries, scheduling meetings, appointments, and court dates, often with competing priorities.
  • Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls, screening and prioritizing as necessary.
  • Maintain and organize case files, both physical and digital, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.
  • Liaise with clients, barristers, courts, and other legal professionals, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times.
  • Assist with the preparation of court bundles and other legal filings.
  • Manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation.
  • Process expense reports and invoices accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or Executive Assistant within a legal environment.
  • A strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal practice management software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Discretion and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
