The role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive legal team, working closely with operational and commercial colleagues to provide clear, practical legal advice and ensure that our business operates with confidence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and proposals in line with G4S Standards
- Advising the business on commercial and legal risks and helping to manage and mitigate them
- Supporting the business in meeting its contractual obligations
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, summaries and documentation
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver effective solutions
What We’re Looking For:
- Either strong paralegal experience or up to 2 years’ PQE as a solicitor (UK or Ireland)
- A solid understanding of contract and commercial law (in England or Scotland)
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Some knowledge of construction law / or Private Finance Initiative (PFI) structures and contracts

We are working exclusively with a boutique bank and asset manager who are seeking an experienced interim senior legal counsel to join its London-based legal team on a six-month contract. This newly-created role will provide broad legal support across investment, operational and governance activities, working closely with stakeholders at all levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on fund launches (AIFs, UCITS, offshore funds) and negotiating related agreements.
- Reviewing and negotiating trading, banking and treasury documentation (e.g. ISDAs, CSAs, GMRAs, custody, administration and prime brokerage agreements).
- Supporting investment and securities transactions.
- Drafting and advising on a wide range of operational service provider agreements.
- Providing guidance on the implementation of new laws and regulations.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified lawyer (common law jurisdiction preferred) with 8+ years' PQE.
- Strong experience in funds/asset management, gained either in-house or at a leading law firm.
- Buy-side experience would be a significant advantage.
- Corporate governance experience would also be advantageous
