Pay Rate: 55 per hour
Duration: 26 Weeks
Onsite work: Staverton, Gloucestershire
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of systems, requesting spare parts, materials and equipment to safely deliver the planned and emergent Base Maintenance, Component Workshop and Aircraft Installations activity.
- Working with Supervisors and Certifying Staff. Ensures all set tasks are executed in accordance with relevant procedures, regulation and process. Notifying the Supervisors, BMIC, Head of Maintenance of discrepancies found and recorded.
- Support of Line Maintenance for aircraft located at Staverton, including the liaison and de-confliction with the training School/ HQ Operations departments in support of pilot training service delivery targets.
- Local support of the Hangars and equipment in Staverton via control of the Hangar Support Supervisor to ensure that facilities are maintained and presented in a professional and compliant manner. Actively follow the lean and safety cultures within your areas of work.
Required experience:
- 5 years UK Aviation industry experience, in particular Rotary Wing operations & technical support. HEMS/Police environment advantageous
- EASA/CAA Part-66 B1.3 AML, ideally with EC135 and/or BK117D2 type ratings.
- Category C AML is a pre-requisite
- Addition of Category B2 AML desirable but not a necessity
- A Base Maintenance & modification background, with strong technical knowledge of rotary aircraft airframe/engine systems.
- A good working knowledge of CAA regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, including application of SMS and Human Factors considerations.

This is a Permanent Position based in London .
5/5/4 mixed shift pattern, working 12 hour shifts.

**In your role, you will**
- Troubleshoots, repairs, inspects and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
**As our ideal candidate**
- you have an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License: B2 and/or C
- you have up to date basic knowledge requirements of Appendix I to Part-66
- you have basic knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations
- you have been involved in at least 6 months of actual relevant aircraft or component maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period
- you have experience working with our aircrafts, but will consider other Business Aircraft makes as well
- you have knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance and limitations
- you have knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant
- you have experience working during last two years on at least one aircraft type for each license (sub)category
- you are current on all training requirements (recurrent/continuation training)
- you have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
- you have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task and / or aircraft status
- you have the ability to use standard tools, special tools and operate ground support equipment
- you have the ability to work in accordance with the maintenance data and to notify the function responsible of defects or mistakes requiring rectification to re-establish required maintenance standards
- you have the ability to use information systems (computer skills)
- you have experience on business jet aircrafts- preferred

Hours: 5,5,4 12 Hour shifts - Days 7am-7pm
Responsibilities -
- To ensure all tooling, equipment and premises within allocated responsibility are serviceable and any discrepancies are duly reported
- Responsibility to ensure all company and legal requirements regarding aircraft/component inspection and production documentation are duly complied with.
- To maintain licence/qualification and training validity necessary to support inspection authorisation utilised during completion of productive work tasks.
- To maintain a working knowledge of maintenance procedures ensuring strict adherence while carrying out line work tasks.
- To maintain acceptable airworthiness, safety, and performance standards in their delegated areas of responsibility.

Experience & Qualifications
- You must hold a current UK CAA B1 Licence

- Have extensive knowledge of Base Maintenance activities with hands on working experience
- Driving licence required
