We're working with a local authority client in the North West of England that are looking for a Licensing Enforcement Officer on a 4 month contract.

This role requires site-presence every day, but the client are open to candidates looking to take on Part-Time hours.

• Manage and coordinate the full approval process for licensed products from concept through to production.
• Liaise directly with brand licensors (e.g., Minecraft, Pokémon) to submit product concepts, designs, packaging, and marketing materials for approval.
• Track and monitor all submissions to ensure timely feedback and approvals are obtained.
• Maintain organized approval records and databases, ensuring version control and accurate documentation.
• Communicate licensor feedback clearly to internal design and production teams, ensuring any required changes are actioned efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet licensor brand guidelines and legal requirements before going into production.

Sanderson Design Group are looking for a Designer to support their Licensing & Partnerships team on an 18 month fixed term contract in our studio at our head office in Chiswick.

Under the direction of the Lead Designer and Design Director you will work across our portfolio of brands, assisting all members of the design studio in the stage and gate process to develop creative projects and collections from product concept to launch, in core and licensed products.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new concepts and ideas in line with launch collection schedule.
• Presentation of visuals with new concepts.
• Develop new collection concepts to enhance and drive Brands forward.
• Actively engage and take responsibility with the critical path process and ensure projects are delivered within the specified timeline.
• Working up designs and taking direction from Lead Designer and Design Director.
• Develop collaborative working relationships with the Archivist.
• Assisting the Lead Designer with production liaisons and general correspondence.
• CAD – colouring of designs, working up repeats and develop mood boards.
• Assisting with the production of wallpapers, fabrics, paint and licensed product from proofing through to production.

Qualification

• BSc/BA in textilesdesign or relevant field
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe CC/2014 programs including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Minimum 5 years’ experience of design within a. manufacturing and processing companies that produce clothing, wallpaper, soft furnishings, and other textile-based products
• Creative development and follow through of developing broad range collections within a luxury brand
• Experience developing designs for homestyle brands
• Proven track record of developing all fabric types including but not limited to weave, jacquard, prints and embroideries which support the delivery of the business strategy
• Textile/CAD design experience
• Must be able to create artwork by computer and hand
• Effective relationship management with design and product development teams
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Adaptable to meet the ever-changing demands of the business
• Strong understanding of colour separation and print development process

We are working on behalf of our client inseeking aSpecialist Animal Licensing Officerto provide ad-hoc support to the in-house Environmental Health team. This role focuses specifically on the inspection, assessment, and enforcement of animal licensing activities under theAnimal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018, as well as Zoo and Dangerous Wild Animal (DWA) licensing.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and reviews of licensed and unlicensed premises, including:
  • Kennels, catteries, dog breeding, home boarding/day care
  • Pet shops, riding schools, animals for exhibition
  • Zoo and Dangerous Wild Animal licences (with authorised veterinary surgeon input)
• Assess and review applications, risk assessments, policies, and procedures for compliance with statutory requirements.
• Issue licences, star ratings, and improvement notices in line with legislative guidance.
• Investigate potential offences including illegal breeding, unlicensed activity, or breaches of licence conditions.

• Experience preparing case files and supporting prosecutions.
• Strong investigation and interviewing skills (PACE, RIPA desirable).
