Job Overview
Elliott Eggs is a family business based at Bewholme near Hornsea. Please note there is no bus service and therefore own transport is essential. Previous applicants need not apply.
Hours are 2pm until 10pm Monday to Friday with very occasional Saturday work.
We are seeking dedicated workers to join our existing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control, materials handling, and the ability to perform lifting as necessary. The Packer will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our business and be prepared to learn roles in different areas.
- Accurately work with team to provide packaging, pack eggs according to order specifications and instruction .
- Maintain an organised workspace within the building.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory packing environment is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control processes.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Food hygiene certificate for which training can be provided.
Holidays 28 days inclusive of bank holidays with availability for most bank holidays other than Christmas and New Year.

CNC Recruitment are currently seeking Paint Line Operatives to join our client in Bridport, a well-known sheet fabrication company. The ideal candidates will be semi-skilled, with previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
Location: Bridport, Dorset
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm
Role Allocation:
2x candidates – Day Shift – 8am – 5pm
1x candidates – Night Shift – 6pm – 6am – pay TBC
Key Duties:
Organising and preparing items for the paint line
Hanging items on the paint line ready for painting
Removing painted items from the line and sorting them accordingly
Cleaning and preparing items before they are painted
Handling and moving paint and materials as required (occasionally handling boxes of up to 20kg)
Requirements
Good level of physical fitness – the role involves regular movement and manual handling
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Role Summary: The Sales/Estimator - Light Industrial and Commercial will play a key role in driving sales growth in these high value add and attractive market sectors.
This a new role and the job holder will be responsible for developing & delivering a robust UK Wide sales pipeline for Structural steel framed buildings with associated roof/wall cladding and other essential façade and roof building components. You will take a structured and methodical approach to initial prospecting to secure new opportunities to quote for the supply only or supply & erect of complete steel framed buildings.
You will have complete ownership of ‘your’ projects from identification, assessment, issuing detailed and accurate fully costed Shufflebottom quotations, ensuring timely and effective follow up through to the receipt of order confirmation. In the case of orders secured for both supply and erection, you will be required to project manage elements of the onsite construction. Through this process you will cultivate strong client relationships to generate sales and where possible repeat business while ensuring customer satisfaction and maximising profitability.
You will be required to record pipeline and daily sales activity in the company’s Sage CRM system Key Responsibilities:
Sales/Estimating
- Proactively prospect for new business, includes use of Glenigan project leads database
- Manage customer enquiries fully
- Ensure sub-contract terms and payments are qualified with commercial lead prior to acceptance
- Enquiry receipt/review
- Discuss enquiry with customer
- Discuss technical aspects with structural engineers, drawing office, quality & H&S
- Attend Site/Teams/Office meetings
- Pricing – Calculate supply, erect & delivery costs + revisions, queries etc
- Produce estimates & subsequent revisions
- Add estimate/project documentation to server and sage.
- Request subcontractor prices, add margins
- Provide Building sketches
- Negotiate orders – Price, Lead times etc
- Raise confirmation of orders
- Attend shows
- Chase projects
- Planning – Expression of interests
Project Management
- Overall responsibility for industrial projects
- Discuss site requirements with site/H&S manager
- Organise site engineer visits for setting of bolts/fabrication surveys
- Project meetings (Site/Office/Teams)
- Discuss project requirements with drawing office at each stage – Structural calcs, foundation, GA’s & cladding drawings
- Issue drawing to customer at each stage & relay queries
- Manage timescales of all internal drawing processes
- Chase customer approval of drawings
- Monitor project costs/variations. Communicate to customer
- Co-ordinate deliveries with purchasing/production
- Invoicing – Finalise prices with admin and issue to customer
- Chase non/late payments
- Provide erecting cost breakdowns
Customer Service
- Primary point of contact for all post-delivery issues
- Investigate and resolve drawing, fab, site issues with quality etc
- Discuss and advise solutions with customer
Marketing
- Provide info on potential marketing projects
- Request photos/project info from clients
- Check wording of blogs/newsletters
Measurement of Success – KPI’s
- A specific set of measures will be developed to suit the requirements of the role.
- A commission based pay element is available in line with net sales revenue targets (described separately)
Key Competencies:
- Proven experience in sales and/or estimating, preferably within Construction (e.g., construction, engineering, manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of the estimating process, including materials, labour costs, and project timelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM and estimating software.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
