This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing kitchen team based at one of the UK's most popular theme parks.
We are looking for Line Cooks who can work efficiently under pressure, maintain a clean and organised kitchen, and prepare high-quality food according to recipes and standards. You will be supporting the team with producing and presenting food across the site. Your main focus will be to cater for our hotel guests in one of our main park restaurants.
Job responsibilities include
- Preparing and cooking food for our guests
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and other dishes as needed
- Work collaboratively with the other Chefs and Line Cooks regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage
- Maintain a clean and organised work station and kitchen environment
- Work collaboratively with the other Chefs and Line Cooks regarding the maintenance of food levels, food quality and standards
- Ensure all shift opening and closing checklists are completed
- Learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks and undertake relevant kitchen training as required
- Having full knowledge of all menu items served
The ingredients for success
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and food presentation skills
- Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
