Commercial payment products for small and medium sized businesses, are an integral part of the business strategy for Card Services UK, and the SME market segment remains a strong opportunity for outstanding growth. To support this goal, we require additional Business Development Managers for our SME Sales Team in Brighton. This is a telephone-based role (no face-to-face client interaction), specifically, providing consultative dialogue to inform and close sales and increase American Express share in the SME segment. Responsibilities:
+ The primary focus is contacting FD's, CFOs, CEOs and directors, or anyone who is a decision maker in the SME space targeting UK companies with revenues from £1m to £50m, in relation to their business spend.
+ Consultative sales approach to inform and close sales, whilst explaining the benefits of our business and corporate suite of products to unlock profitable spend volume
+ Make daily calls to prospects whilst being responsible for the entire sales cycle, building and managing own pipeline; from prospecting new companies via outbound activities, qualifying leads to opportunity level, closing sales, whilst delivering solutions tailored to each prospect.
