I am currently working with a fantastic charitable organisation that specialises in the safety of victims of domestic abuse.
As a community services manager you will be responsible for developing, managing and leading a team that keeps the safety of victims of domestic abuse central to all processes. You will have direct and overall responsibility for the staff and clients that access the service.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of staff, ensuring appropriate and effective delivery of services to survivors, including risk assessments, safety planning, referrals in house, to other agencies and MARAC.
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of IDVA, Outreach and Helpline. You will be doing rota's, budgeting, managing staff, training staff, assisting with benefit claims, using computer systems and CMS, conducting talks and presentations to local authorities, the public and other organisations and much more.
To be successful within this role;
You will have a strong background in working with people who have been victims of domestic violence and abuse
- You will have worked for a non-profit organisation and have a good knowledge of how the benefits system works.
- Provide routine reports/monitoring to managers, funders and stakeholders so that they can assess the overall performance of the service
- You will also need to have experience of having worked within a social care / welfare setting, and within safeguarding guidelines to protect and promote the well-being of children and vulnerable adults.
- You will have an in-depth knowledge of relevant legislations such as Children's Act, Safeguarding Children, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Domestic Violence Crime and Victims Act, Forced Marriages (Civil Protection) Act 2007, and the new Domestic Abuse Bill.

Our client, a well-respected charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse, is looking for a highly organised Female Domestic Abuse Navigator (Community Based Services) to provide support and interventions to those affected by domestic abuse to empower and support and break the cycle of domestic abuse
Synopsis of duties:
- To work on helpline on a rota basis and provide advice and support to all those affected by domestic abuse (victims, perpetrators/those using unhealthy or abusive behaviours) and professionals.
- Process referrals, accept when eligible and commence an initial need and risk assessment with the client within the specified timescales initiating plans to manage and address risks, needs and immediate safety.
- Managing own case load, assessing, co-producing and delivering support to high and medium risk clients and their family on the basis of risk and need.
- To provide support to clients and their families living in the community in line using mandated best practice tools and assessments, this may include supporting clients with Whole Family Plans.
- To ensure clients have in place and continuously review (in line with timeframes specified) robust safety and risk management plans.
- To work closely with external partner agencies, advocating on behalf of the client to meet their individual support needs in particular where those needs are specialist, e.g. Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Legal, etc. and signposting and supporting clients to access the community-based services. Ensure excellent professional relationships are forged and maintained with both the clients and agencies.
- To ensure that children’s and vulnerable adults’ welfare is ensured in accordance with the Protection from Abuse Policy, the Portsmouth Safeguarding Children Board and the Portsmouth Safeguarding Adults Board policies and procedures, including making appropriate onwards referrals when required.
- To support clients in recovering from and living lives free of domestic abuse by facilitating and encouraging engagement with the various specialist domestic abuse community-based group work provision.
- To complete whole family plans with families utilising the agreed template and guidance.
- To complete target hardening assessments for community-based clients, issuing basic safety devices (when available), liaising with landlords to secure installation of larger security measures, advising clients of safety measures and making referrals to external agencies to complete larger security improvements as required.
- To work within Portsmouth’s ‘Team Around the Worker’ approach, both as the Lead Professional and where another agency is taking the Lead Professional role.
- Working as part of a team takes responsibility as part of that team for the day-to-day running of the service, fulfilling whatever role is allocated to you by your line manager, including ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are managed appropriately and the facilities are clean, welcoming and resourced at all times.
- To maintain excellent confidential records, provide detailed handover reports to colleagues, appropriate referral information when working in partnership with other agencies, and ensure that consistent and accurate monitoring systems are maintained.

Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Considerable experience in the areas of finance, business management and/or sales operations in mid-to-large scale global Sales Organization
- Considerable experience with the development and implementation of systems, processes and tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, and forecasting
- Considerable experience using BI tools, CRM software, and Excel
- Existing Security Clearance desirable. Due to the nature of the role, and the need to be able to complete security clearance, this role is open to UK nationals only.

CAST UK is hiring for a unique role for an organisation based in the Warrington area, which will see you lead on the delivery of procurement reform and ensure new public sector procurement regulations are fully embedded into company policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead on all aspects of procurement quality and compliance within the business
- Support the Procurement team with all queries regarding compliance with existing and previous public sector procurement legislation
- Plan and provide training to the Procurement Team on quality and compliance related matters.
- Maintain and update templates to ensure they are well aligned with all necessary regulatory requirements, case law and best practice
- Develop and roll out standard Procurement processes, procedures and systems, and act as the Super User for the company's e-tendering platform
- Provide advice on procurement related matters such as TUPE / GDPR and amendments to standard contracts, terms and conditions
- Liaise with external legal advisors on more complex queries
Ideal skills and experience
- Extensive knowledge of public sector procurement regulations, including PCR 2015, PA 2023 and the Procurement Regulations 2024.
- Previous experience / exposure to Public Sector Procurement
- Previous experience of leading projects on Procurement Reform, Process and Procedures and/or Procurement Systems
- Honed communication, influencing and negotiation skills

Purpose of the role:
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and leading all my clients group Procurement activity.
This is a business-critical role which will ensure that the business gains maximum value across all contracts and procurement exercises.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with the organisation's overall objectives.
- Oversee all procurement exercises, ensuring they are executed efficiently, in compliance with internal procedures and the latest Procurement Act and relevant procurement legislation, while delivering value for money.
