Van Delivery Driver

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with a leading client based in Bolton. We're currently recruiting Van Drivers for long-term and temp-to-perm positions.

You must be able to get to BL5, work weekends as part of your rota, and have a DBS & Drug & Alcohol test.

Pay Rates

• 13.17 per hour - PAYE
• 16.62 per hour - PAYE Umbrella
• 19.76 - 24.93 per hour - Overtime

Shift Details

• Start time: 07:00am until finish
• Rolling rota: 5 days on, 3 days off
• Includes both weekdays and weekends

Job Responsibilities

• Work as part of a 2-person crew with an experienced 7.5T driver
• Deliver goods to customers' homes and flats
• Unload items and deliver to the room of choice
• Handle delivery paperwork
• Perform heavy lifting as part of the role

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points - no DR, TT, or IN10 endorsements)

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of products to a diverse customer base, while also providing exceptional pre- and post-sale support to ensure customers fully maximise the value and efficiency of the products.

About this position:

• Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
• Start times would vary depending on jobs that are scheduled
• Delivering cleaning equipment to customers sites nationwide
• You will be required to load and unload the equipment at the sites
• Update any progress and information on company's system via a tablet
• Provide updates for delivery schedule
• You will be required to provide product demonstrations and training sessions for customers

What we require from you for this role:

Outline of the Role

To work alongside a very successful team within a busy Parts Department. The role will involve delivering parts to our customers and if required moving group stock around the depots in the Southeast of England. • Be familiar with the appearance and purpose of all parts and use catalogues and price lists to identify parts to meet customer requirements.
• Keep price lists up to date.
• Operate a fork lift truck in a safe and responsible manner.
• Present a professional image at all times.
• Carry out all work practices in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
• Meet and exceed customer expectations whilst maintaining profitability.
• Contribute to overall success of Greenshields JCB Limited through teamwork and good communication within the Company.
