IMMEDIATE START

Role: Service Provider / Courier / Delivery Driver / Delivery Associate (DA) – Multi-Drop

Pay: £155 per day, paid weekly

Contract: Ongoing / Indefinite

Depot : DD5

Delivery Location: DD3 or DD6

What you’ll be doing:

• Driving local routes in your area
• Using a simple app to manage your drops and stay in touch with the depo 
• Making sure parcels arrive safely, securely, and on time

• Drivers in their own vans or looking to hire a van from our supplier
• Living in or knowledge of the delivery area

Requirements

• Our Vans: Valid UK, European, or International Manual license, 12+ months UK driving, max 6 penalty points (No TT, CD, DR, DG, AC, BA, MS codes)
• Must be entitled to live and work in the UK.
• International students who can't work self-employed are unfortunately ineligible.
• Pass Various background checks, e.g. a Basic Disclosure Scotland check.
• All Drivers must return to base for a de-brief when deliveries are completed.
• Your Van: You must have the following insurance in place:
• Public Liability
• Goods in Transit
• Business Motor Insurance covering carriage of goods for hire and reward (social, domestic & pleasure policies are not accepted)

We are recruiting for Delivery Van Drivers based in Reading RG2 for our well established client.

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday

Pay Rate :

£12.21ph with overtime at £19.50ph

Contract:

Temp ongoing Full-time hours

Duties:

* Safely and efficiently transport goods from the warehouse to designated locations

* Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle

* Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries

* Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues

Requirements:

* Previous experience of being a delivery driver desirable

* A clean driving licence for a minimum of 12 months

* Effective communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines

* Good knowledge of local area to effective plan routes on time.
