You will provide tactical **Supply Chain (SC) support to UK Fixed Wing activities** and contracts utilizing Supply Chain Support Best Practice. Responsible to the Fixed Wing Major Projects Manager. You will be aware of and adhere to Boeings Go4Zero H&S Policies and Security Protocols.

**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Coordinate the receipt, storage and issuing of material through the on-site warehouse (working through the other on-site warehouse team members).
+ Ensure complete compliance to Inwards Processing (IPR) requirements including:- Physical segregation of stock.- Recording import clearance information and tracking usage data to highlight items at risk of breaching IPR timelines.- Reporting out to senior stakeholders.- Working cross-functionally to ensure tasks are completed in time to ensure compliance.- Understanding the a/c production plans and how IPR is impacted by changes to this plan.
+ Maintain awareness of upcoming shipments to provide insight into likely future Import Duty incurred.
+ Provide out of hours service as required.
+ Provide shift cover (early / late) as the team grows in size.
**Other Warehousing Responsibilities:**
+ Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of items.
+ Accurately report, communicate and escalate non-conformances.
+ Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse / storage areas.
+ Pick, pack, and ship orders to customers in a timely manner and in line with aircraft priorities.
+ Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
+ Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
+ Conduct distribution activities in line with Supply Chain processes and business support needs.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures.
+ Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times in accordance with 6S and Boeing Policy.
+ Assist with other warehouse & distribution duties at all times.
+ Maintain and store accurate records of required documents as required for auditing purposes.
+ Efficiently prioritise all tasks and work to best support the business needs.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with support organisations to ensure a seamless support is provided.
+ Conduct Supply Chain Support activities in line with Business Unit Processes and Procedures.
+ Review and amend Processes and Procedures when gaps/errors are identified during the day to day activities.
+ Undertake training and qualifications as required by the business to meet the business needs.
+ Mentor junior members of the team in Supply Chain Best Practices and help resolve minor issues as they become experienced.
+ Develop and support Key Performance Indicators Metrics to measure performance inline Warehouse and Distribution tasks.
+ Provide Subject Matter Expertise and support to internal stakeholders for long-range Program requirements.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Development Director and as part of the Site Leadership Team, the Supply Chain Manager will lead and improve all supply chain activities across two Scottish sites; including procurement, production planning, logistics, and customer service. This role ensures that materials, information, and products flow efficiently from suppliers through to customers, achieving high levels of delivery performance, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.
 
The role requires a strong leader who can develop strategy, manage teams across multiple disciplines, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service performance. Excellent stakeholder management and communication is essential. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and implement the site supply chain strategy to support manufacturing and business objectives.
  • Ensure alignment between procurement, planning, logistics, and customer service teams.
  • Define and monitor key supply chain KPIs to drive operational efficiency and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support demand forecasting, capacity planning, and cost control initiatives.

Candidates will have worked in a volume driven production / manufacturing environment and ideally will have first hand experience using SAP ERP (or other relevant ERP systems) platforms to manage the procurement and planning functions. We would be especially keen to hear from candidates who have worked in high SKU driven production environments and those where NPI / NPD and change is constant.
 
Given the role is based across two sites in the Scottish Borders, the client will need presence on site. They are open to a hybrid working style, where you can work from home (possibly Monday and Friday) and be onsite Tues-Thurs inclusive. What will I be doing in this Supply Chain Analyst role?
  • Owning the inventory data across UK, Hong Kong, and New York warehouses – ensuring accuracy, integrity, and clear reporting.
  • Using Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) and Sage 200 to track stock movements, reconcile variances, and analyse sell-through trends.
  • Producing quick, insightful reports on stock levels, backorders, aged inventory, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Maintaining clean product data, pricing, and codes within the ERP system and B2B platform.
  • Forecasting demand and raising purchase orders with overseas suppliers based on sell-through and re-order analysis.
  • Monitoring minimum and maximum stock levels to maintain optimal availability.
  • Preparing international shipping documentation (COO, C88, Telex Release etc.) and coordinating imports/exports with freight forwarders.
  • Liaising daily with internal teams and global warehouses to ensure information flow is precise, timely, and data-driven.
  • Supporting sales and operations with quick ad-hoc analyses—helping the business make informed, data-led decisions.
  • Identifying process improvements to reduce obsolete stock and increase inventory turnover.
 What skills and experience will I need for this Supply Chain Analyst Role?
  • 3+ years’ experience in inventory control, supply chain, or stock analysis within a product or wholesale environment.
  • Advanced Excel user – confident with formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data cleansing.
  • ERP experience (Sage 200 preferred) with a strong eye for data accuracy and reporting.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and creating clear, visual stock reports.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills—able to present complex data simply and accurately.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with international shipping documentation and customs processes is advantageous.
  • A natural problem-solver with a growth mindset and collaborative approach.
