Our client, a global leader in Freight Forwarding is now recruiting for a Freight Forwarding Imports Manager based in the Feltham location
Your role will involve the management of the freight Import forwarding team with responsibility for the Import Operation both commercially and logistically. Managing the day to day operation ensuring the department runs smoothly
Main responsibilities include
* Pro-active management of general day-to-day Import operation.
* Allocation and distribution of workload to Import staff.
* Co-ordinating import freight movements with overseas offices, airlines and shipping lines.
* Customer service and Key Account Managing responsibilities to include client visits & corporate hospitality.
* Introduction and allocation of account managers for all new business.
* To ensure Key Customer SOP's are maintained.
