  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, workflow, and inventory management.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock takes to maintain accuracy.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures within the warehouse.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
  • Utilize and optimize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics partners.
  • Manage operational budgets and control costs effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in warehouse operations management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for remote management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions in a remote setting.
