  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems in a manufacturing context; certifications such as APICS, IPICS, or CIPS are advantageous.
  • Demonstrates active listening and shares relevant information and knowledge with others in a timely and respectful manner.

This is a Monday-Friday role , perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Our client works with the majority of the major retailers to deliver their orders, and their Supply Chain team makes sure that production has what they need, when they need it, and where they need it. They're looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join the team and play a key role in managing raw materials, imported produce, and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Monitoring production activity against plan and adjusting schedules as required.
  • Analysing sales performance versus forecast to inform planning.
  • Managing material call-offs, production work orders and raw material orders.
  • Handling supply issues and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, from Sales to Production, Distribution and Field.
  • Maintaining accurate ERP records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience working in a similar production or material planning role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Intermediate Excel Skills and experience in using ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent people skills and can build relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
