The Role:
Joining the supply chain division at this award winning company who supply construction, industrial and engineering products via retail, wholesaler and merchant routes to market, as the supply chain analyst and administrator, you will play a vital role within the business.
This position is initally to cover a fixed term period of 8 - 12 months however an extension is potentially on offer for the right person.
Using state of the art SAP systems and processes designed to make supply meet demand across the UK, you will have a multifunctional role ensuring that supply chain professionals are supported and that processes within this busy division meet retail customer satisfactions.

Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a methodical and data driven supply chain analyst who not only enjoys the analytical and forward thinking aspects of being a supply chain analyst, but importantly, they must be a "right first time" and extremely accurate administrator of all supporting documentation, reporting, and process systems.
This role would perfectly suit a supply chain analyst who has a mathematical, numerical, financial or data driven background with supporting qualifications. SAP experience is required.
We also "ideally" require this person to have an awareness and appreciation of the supply chain supporting the retail, wholesale, merchant or similar retail guided marketplace. Construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, M & E or similar industry experience would be advantageous but essentially you will have held a similar post to that described above.
This role is based in Staffordshire, so we are ideally looking for candidates living within 45 minutes of the Stoke /Stone area.

Our client works with the majority of the major retailers to deliver their orders, and their Supply Chain team makes sure that production has what they need, when they need it, and where they need it. They're looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join the team and play a key role in managing raw materials, imported produce, and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Monitoring production activity against plan and adjusting schedules as required.
- Analysing sales performance versus forecast to inform planning.
- Managing material call-offs, production work orders and raw material orders.
- Handling supply issues and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, from Sales to Production, Distribution and Field.
- Maintaining accurate ERP records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Previous experience working in a similar production or material planning role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Intermediate Excel Skills and experience in using ERP/MRP systems
- Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent people skills and can build relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
