Key Responsibilities
Organising and managing all company transport logistics
Planning delivery routes and loading schedules, considering weight restrictions and special requirements
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and transport providers
Managing transport costs and negotiating rates
Communicating effectively across departments to align on customer requirements, schedules, and any unexpected changes
Using business systems (including NetSuite) to maintain delivery records, product details, and customer preferences
Supporting the sales and warehouse teams to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries
Handling bespoke and last-minute orders with accuracy and professionalism
Key Skills
A highly organised, proactive individual who can multitask and prioritise effectively
Strong communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented attitude
Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
Comfortable working under pressure and in a dynamic environment
Basic understanding of health & safety practices
Confidence in geographical awareness and practical route planning
High level of attention to detail and time management skills
Due to the location, you will need to be a car owner

Working as part of a dedicated team to ensure the smooth supply of Fresh Produce across 7 days a week, the position of Supply Chain Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain Manager will work closely with Procurement and Commercial colleagues becoming fundamental in the success of fresh produce product supply to key retail customers.
This Friday to Monday Supply Chain Coordinator opportunity offers a varied portfolio of responsibilities to include;
- Manage product storage, inventory, packing & distribution.
- Responsible for administering inventory ordering, procurement and supporting profitability.
- Helping maintain customer forecasts ensuring forecast accuracy whilst keeping an accurate record of the inventory.
- Communicate and maintain the coordinated sourcing mission and strategy.
- Work closely with the sales / supply chain teams to ensure all sales volumes are supplied and pre-planned accounting for any external factors such as vessel changes.
- Work closely with the Warehouse team to manage stock arrivals and the safe storage of stock
We require;
Previous experience within a similar key support role, with exposure to stock Management systems or ERP, examples Prophet
Stock Planning and Supply Chain experience within Fresh Produce is ideal
Attention to detail, with excellent IT and numeracy skills; Microsoft, Excel
Confident ability to work with all colleagues at all levels positively
Salary; up to c28k + bonus
