My client is currently seeking an experienced Logistics Transport Manager to lead their transport planning and logistics operations, ensuring high performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for managing vehicle routing, driver productivity, and transport efficiency, while also developing your team and driving continuous improvement across the operation.
The role:
• Manage vehicle routes, delivery times and transport costs
• Coordinate and control the order cycle, ensuring that orders are prioritised correctly and processed on time

Salary:
£12.21 per hour PAYE
Logistics Operator Role:
Process goods inward transactions and movements, including document completion.
Ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of finished product, including document completion and data logging of shipments.
Pick, replenish, load and store components/products to facilitate the production plan.
Process all deliveries in a timely manner in accordance with company processes. Perform a suitable handover with the oncoming shift.
Contribute to the efficient running of the warehouse conveyor system, clearing any basic blockages and recording discrepancies using the relevant ADR’s and logbooks.
Your Background :
Hold a Level 3 qualification – NVQ L3, BTEC National, ONC or C&G L3 in logistics/engineering or scientific field.
FLT license would be desirable.
Ideally competent in SAP processing.
Experience working in a regulated industry desirable (i.e. Pharma, Food, Aerospace).
Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical warehousing or cold chain logistics in a suitable environment (e.g. food).
