  • Lead and mentor a remote team of logistics and supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor operational performance against targets.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal pricing and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and technological solutions to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and meet business objectives.
  • Manage operational budgets and forecast future resource needs.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations management, with a significant focus on logistics and supply chain.
  • Proven experience in managing remote teams and operations effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing operational strategies that drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and relevant technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management and change management methodologies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis and performance reporting.
  • APICS or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
