Specialising in managed transport services, the business supports a diverse client base across manufacturing, retail, and logistics sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.
This role is based at modern offices in Hinckley, within easy commuting distance of Nuneaton, Coventry, Rugby, Atherstone, Lutterworth, and Leicester. The company also operates a core fleet alongside a strong network of subcontract hauliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and allocate loads daily to maximise profit margins
- Schedule deliveries accurately and in line with customer expectations
- Source additional work through freight trading platforms
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers and haulier partners
- Monitor delivery performance and communicate any delays proactively
- Meet operational KPIs and maintain accurate data within the TMS (Mandata)
- Contribute to a collaborative and performance-driven team environment
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in subcontract haulage or freight brokerage
- Confident negotiating transport rates with hauliers
- Strong UK geographical knowledge and understanding of the general haulage market
- Familiarity with transport regulations (driver hours, WTD, etc.)
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and transport management systems

- GCSE-level education or above
