- To ensure that products reach the external customer on time and the goods are packed and loaded in a quality manner so that there is no damage during transit
- Check goods in as they arrive, inspecting them against delivery notes and orders, and stamping them as checked, reporting damage/discrepancies.
- Booking goods on to the system.
- Moving goods into the allocated storage area

The purpose of this role is to support the "Logistics Coordinator" with their role in carrying out the daily planning and routing for the Company's own fleet of delivery vehicles and keep the sales team and driver team informed throughout the day. In short, the mission for each day is to get every delivery to site on time and in full, whatever takes to fulfil in the most efficient way.
Key Responsibilities:

* Communicating with drivers as they go about their day.
* Communicating with sales on all aspects of deliveries and delivery information.
* Organising any external and extra transport, including booking pallet network deliveries (keeping records of these too).
